 		[META] Voice actor for grumpy old man
Hello, I've been following the ILovebees game since it's inception but have not participated. I like puzzles and Halo, so I was drawn here. Anyway, i have a thing for voices, and I noticed something when I first heard the clip http://www.ilovebees.com/outbound/troy.wav, and the voice of grumpy old man has bugged me ever since. Tonight I was watching a Seattle comedy show named Almost Live! that was canceled a few years ago, but still plays late Saturday nights (thank god for Tivo). An actor on that show happened to voice the part of Sgt. Johnson http://imdb.com/name/nm0780266/ . I have reason to believe that another actor on the show named Pat Cashman http://imdb.com/name/nm0143660/ voiced grumpy old man. Tonight I was watching an episode and Pat was doing a skit in which he played an old man, and the result is I almost jumped out of my skin. Anyway
I think I have enough proof that Pat voiced Grumpy old man. No real bearing on the game, just an interesting little fact I thought I'd point out.

If you want to hear Pats voice for reference, he does mornings on a local radio station http://www.957kjrfm.com/patcashman.html. They also broadcast over the 'net so you can listen to him in the mornings. I'd like feedback to see what you all think.

 		That's some pretty good research, but Herzog and the "cranky old man" are both played by Pete Stacker.

Pete Stacker is a favorite at Bungie Studios; in Halo, he played a sergeant of the same name and Captain Jacob Keyes. Listen carefully, and you'll notice Keyes and Herzog sound almost identical.

The other actors in ILB are a complete mystery to me, though.

It is probably just two similar voices, but Sophia sounds just like the character MELISSA Steadman, who was played by Melanie Mayron on the 1987 - 1991 TV series Thirtysomething. Most Beekeepers are probably too young to have watched that show, although it had a second run in cable syndication. I can't find a voice clip of Melissa S. to post.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the police officer in big_gloves.wav -- the one arresting the auditor for assault -- sounds like it's the exact same guy who plays Herzog?
