I'm not sure you're supposed to post your own Blogs... You should probably take this down before the trolls get here xD

I believe you can PM the Trailhead Troll to promote your blog... Check around I suppose?

However, liking how It's going mate, thought I'd give it a quick watch! Can't wait to see how you get on! Smile

I will be reviewing UrbanVortex1. I just viewed all 9 entries that are out so far and this is what I have to say. So far there is long droning dialog, no true reason to have the camera on in the first place and emotionless acting. My friend is missing, we just passed out, I just passed out all in a very apathetic manner. Most of the time the main player has his camera facing his feet and he lifts it up every now and again. Those were my complaints. For a 15 YO this series is not bad, but measured against any well regarded Slender Man series this does not hold up.

Another series that suffers from fan and viewing support. From what I can see they aren't mediocre at all. So enjoy.

Ugh, I hate it when people make the text on their youtube channel the same colour as the background.

Great series, really nicely claustrophobic and I'm not quite sure what their accent is (Northern English?), but it's so awesome. I honestly don't know why this isn't popular. Very, very naturalistic - I'm guessing they do a lot of improv.

I started watching the first few posts. I love the accents, but am having trouble getting into it even though the action seems to start immediately. Should I be more patient?

Alrighty, so I stuck it out and watched this through to the end (or, well, to 25, which is the highest recording they have posted right now). These are my thoughts for anyone who is considering watching it.

I won't say that I was disappointed, because in the end I really wasn't. Did it meet all of my expectations based on what people posted about it? Eh not really, but it did have its shining moments. Overall, the acting is pretty good and most of the dialogue seems natural. The settings for a lot of the recordings are awesome, either gritty and industrial or sort of spooky and natural. And of course I'm a fan of the accents.

I would have liked to see more of our Slenderfriend, and would like a bit more of a story. A lot of the recordings spend too much time filming the ground, which could have been cut out. There are probably some recordings that could have been cut or put together. There are a handful of great episodes, but they get lost in the pile of others that are so-so. However I will say that while I was starting to lose interest towards the end, the No escape post (25) was really good, and alone convinced me to follow this series. Need more of that.

Also, Connor is a cutie.

A whole lot of Twitter updates:

So, their escaped (according to their Twitter) - really looking forward to the new footage. Not sure about the whole Logan R Bayne thing, feels a little at odds with the rest of the series. New video update should be available in a day or two, very excited Smile
