It is a known and previously established symptom of Slendersickness and the one character who's started doing it was implied to have had previous contact with him so it does make sense.

The first thing I thought of when I read this was those optical illusions that you have to stare at something long enough to see another image embedded in it. I'm terrible at those, my parents always teased me about it before they found out that it was a part of my messed up eyes. It could be stretch, a long stretch, but the distortion is so much more different than what we have witnessed in other vlogs, and it does seem make out a pattern. I'm not saying it's actually an optical illusion (though there have been stranger stuff) but there could be something hidden in the distortion that only the trained eye could see.

Would someone be able to get some screencaps?


I don't have screencaps (sorry), but I am pretty good at magic eye puzzles (Crossing your eyes is a good trick) and I can pretty confidently say that the fuzz isn't a magic eye. There's no repeating pattern to hide anything in.

Watching it through a number of times, I think the image we're seeing distorted is the banister of the stairway. I don't think there's anything hidden there.

The atmosphere was alright, but it all seemed rather too coincidental. Turn on camera, suddenly Charlie disappears or whatever, and then suddenly she's back in the house.

I believe I saw him in the last shot at the top of the screen just next to her head. It's easiest to see when the static kicks in. I didn't notice him anywhere else.

I completely agree with you. I think that there should be more series with good female leads like this! I haven't seen a good female lead series in a super long time :/
