I'm kinda in the same boat with qaqa regarding the letter. But the stuff with Linnie has always been /fuzzy/. I can't believe that Corenthal Linnie = Dead girl Linnie. But I don't really know if that is what this letter is telling us.

I think, again, a lot of this falls onto Jessie again. She surely most know of a Linnie or someone associated with her grandmother that could have been Linnie under a different name?

Also, Corenthal talks about sibiling demise. Is he talking about his kids or an actual relative of Linnie?

I still think a lot of questions could be answered by the former Mrs. C, but that still seems to be off the table...


In other stuff, I love to two subtle Slendy appearances. Noah definitely was looking at him at the train station. I wonder why(I can only assume) that Slendy wanted EMH to meet the DH crew?

But he's recalling a conversation - in 1990 - that I suspect happened in the last couple years. He's seeing the future, or so it seems to me. Linnie grows up, wants to know about the family, has stumbled upon the resemblance to them in EMH somehow from afar. William explains it to her, and she sets out to learn more. Linnie is apparently not part of the cycle. Like Alex, she appears to be a single iteration.

Linnie wrote to William saying "someone else knows about the doctor" and she has to go see him. This is reiterated in the new note. She also was on track to go meet EMH, apparently. She never made it to EMH. But did she meet someone else beforehand, or am I reading this wrong? Because I can see her being intercepted by HABIT.

We've tried contacting Jessie on YT. I don't know if anyone's had any recent success.

You're right... in 1990 only Evan had been born even... and he was only a few months old in December.

I like to think they're all refractions of the same transuniversal being, or something. But yes, DH's Slendy is deeply rooted in a very wild and woolly, overt mythology of its own, and TT's Slendy has different goals for Noah, it seems, than EMH, as well as a very different enforcer in the Observer.

If you wanted, I suppose you could perhaps say DH's Slendy has only had all that mythology projected onto him by delusional cultists - that it's open to interpretation whether any of that is legit and that that's how the series coexist in this way. But truthfully, I don't think it's something to worry about or try to explain away, and when I watch DH, I do take their mythology at face value for THEIR series. So I don't think we're to look too closely at any of that. It's Slender Man. He does different things. He is perhaps different versions on slightly different calibrations of reality. Just repeat to yourself 'it's just a show, I should really just relax.'

That being said, the knowledge of the Observer from HABIT was made overt - that I am curious about, even if it's just a gag.

Okay. Since I'm bored at work, I'm braving the slow interwebs to try to piece together all the Linnie/William/Rose pieces. I'm only starting out at the moment, but going from the note in Reunion..it seems obvious that she's writing EMH(well, mostly obvious). Do you think it was happenstance she came upon them on youtube...or did someone direct her there.

And since most of this story(LWR) is reliant on handwritten notes, how much can we believe considering someone's affinity for 'editing'?

EDIT: Finished the video and read the file. I assume it was written by Corenthal, but I've never seen any mention of it before now, or this "episode a month ago" he talks about.

Hm, "Noah" never appeared in my subscription box, even though I have been subscribed for quite a while. I was just about to get ready for bed when I checked what people were talking about here and noticed there was a new update. Did this happen for anybody else?

Anyway, Alex was the one doing the camera work in the car, right? Pretty eerie that he not only saw Slenderman, but was so concentrated on him as well. That would be the first time he's seen him, wouldn't it be? ... I am not suggesting anything other than that I don't know how certain we can be about Alex's well being in the coming months. (if it wasn't bad enough for him already.)

Also — I guess, Evan started the car? ... Weird shit. Would this be due to sigma radiation or his strange connection with HABIT? I'm thinking the first, but not counting out the other option either.

Lastly, could anyone give me a brief description/bio on who Linnie is and what she means to the story? This is what happens where there are so much time spaced between updates. I think I am forgetting some details that shouldn't be forgotten..

Yeah, Youtube hasn't updated any of my subscriptions in about a week.

I think it was Jeff filming. I don't even think Alex was there (except for DH!Alex of course).

I myself was under the impression that Slender Man started the car, and stalled it in the first place. I think he was trying to do a little Dark Harvesting of his own when the EMH boys happened to come along by chance and ruin things for him, so he decided to try his luck another day.

As for Linnie, you can probably learn all about her on the wiki.
