[EMAIL] Private Axon Confirmation?

Well, this is actually sort of amusing - I'm thinking either I screwed up when I told her my phone number, in that they didn't match, or that the PMs actually lost it. But, anyways, I noticed I was sent this e-mail Friday:
Quote:
Crew member,
I am experiencing hardward difficulties.
I am afraid that some of my contact information for future broadcasts
has been compromised.
Please resubmit your private axon data so that I can continue to
communicate important transmissions to you personally.

Notice the typo. It's also worth noting these were responses to my photo submission from Tuesday. Here are my two replies from this afternoon - two because I actually put an old number of mine in the first e-mail. Embarassed
Quote:

Melissa-

My private axon may be reached at the following number:

XXX-XXX-XXXX

I hope this is helpful.

Quote:
Melissa -

I apologize, it just came to my attention that the previous axon I
mentioned will not be secure. The following would be a better option.

(XXX) XXX-XXXX

I apologize for the confusion.

To which I recieved this reply, twenty minutes later...
Quote:
Secure channel (XXX) XXX-XXXX confirmed.
Thank you, soldier.

Mostly just posting this for archival purposes, and that you guys might find it interesting - there's obviously nothing too important behind it.

i guess this would be a better place to put this (i'm wary of starting new threads)... but i got this email from Melissa today...

Quote:
The geographic coordinates you provide map to the ocean. I have had
zero success constructing axons roads to the ocean previously. Do you
understand, soldier? I am concerned that other crew members may find
themselves in harm's way if they attempt to rendezvous at the wrong
location. I therefore am ordering you to resubmit matching physical
address and improved geographic coordinates so that I may broadcast to
you, my trusted crew member. Without this data, I will not attempt to
construct a road to the axon you submitted.
I also find it highly suspicious that you have submitted axon data
with such a limited degree of accuracy. My crew members know to
submit coordinates to the sixth decimal place, soldier.
Do not disappoint me.

i mistyped my co-ordinates in the email i sent her, which do, in fact, lead into the middle of the gulf of mexico... hooray for proofing! oh, and apparently, submit them to the 6th decimal place (if no one else has mentioned that yet...)

and now, i need to go figure out how to figure out GPS coordinates without the use of a GPS handheld... fun for all!

Should we overlook typos as just PM "oopsies"?
I had a typo in my axon confirmation as well:
Quote:
Solider,
You are commended for your resourcefulness in gathering this data for me.
.

Maybe it means something in game? Or should we just pass a blind eye over Melissa's typos?

Let's be realistic. They probably write and send a ton of emails every day, in addition to the 20-hour workdays the Wired article spoke of. They're human, or at least Melissa's VA is; they're bound to make a typo or two. Let it go.
