I found that same picture when digging around the site but never posted anything about it because I didnt have time on Friday. Here is what my findings were:

Looks like they monitor this forum and have taken down the link to the image that you put up. Thankfully I saved that picture to my HDD on Friday because I thought it seemed out of place as well.

After some searching around I found where this picture came from. It is a screen cap of this site: http://www.ootpdevfiles.com/ootp/

OOTP seems to stand for "Out of the Park " developments: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/index.php

It seems like a legit site for a Baseball manager sim type game. This might give some insight as to what the interests are of our GM, maybe he manages that site or plays that game OOG? im not really sure but have a feeling its not really related to our game

What are your thoughts?

 		Last second update before I head out to class.

I emailed Theresa last night at the suggestion of Cory, asking her about Veil's affiliation with the Randalls. Well, I just got an email back not too long ago:

mostly he just stressed the whole there has to be a connection thing, which I think we started to find with that hidden picture. Also that he thinks there might be someone else in the company trying to get information out.

I mentioned the same thing a page or so back. I've never played OOTP baseball, but I am familiar with it and knew of its existence prior to this ARG. It is OOG.

That's weird. How could the history of Dr. Veil mirror Eve's disappearance.

Well, if you go to Bill's blog and click the picture, the file name is uncode.jpg, but I'm not sure if that's what it was when the initial image was destegged. Either way, we might not be done with these two images based on your convo w. Cory.

Dr. Veil had a daughter (maybe with Alice Silva, but who knows) who got kidnapped. Veil goes off the rail and starts kidnapping girls and doing experiments on them involving the neural implants, with the eventual goal of recreating his daughter with all of her memories.


Don't worry, it's dumb and it's wrong, but it was fun to think about. I even tied in Frankenstein. I just woke up don't judge me, I'm gonna look at this a few hours from now and just laugh.

I actually don't think it's that bad of an idea. At the very least, it makes more sense WRT the Frankenstein quote than my "The guy who sent the emails is dying" theory.

That just gave me a little chub. That'd be incredible.

EDIT: Theresa has not answered me regarding Alec's history and why it's similar - so I thought I'd go to another source and dig further into their history and contact our good friend Alice Silva again. Maybe she'll give me some information.

EDIT 2: Welp, that was a bust. Alice cut me off with a very terse "It's in my best interest to stay out of it." So no go there. C'mon Theresa, where'd you go..

 		@Thermal Boners: That was my thought too.

Something drastic/traumatic had to trigger the jump from working with the Silvas to Veil Nanoscience. (Did the Silvas always work with just malaria, don't think so but can't remember exactly.)

What if Veil *did* do something to change these girls? What if they were the first test subjects -- and voluntarily? If you completed the application there was a question asking if you could cut off contact with family and friends six months prior. That could be akin to disappearing, especially if a non-disclosure agreement was signed.


Can Cory get access to any records related to company expenses? I'd be curious to see if there are any special allotments/accounts/departments that had a spike or drop in funding.

Or... access to recruiting materials and records.
