Today I got the Veil Nanoscience packet. I havne't had time to look at it in depth yet, but it seems a bit different from the ones other people got. I'll give it a thorough investigation tomorrow. Sorry, I'm tired.

Lol, yup. PM screwed up my email. But yea, I just got that picture sent to me as well.

Darling and Reines are new characters - at least, from what I recall, I don't remember seeing their names before. More mention of Ward 5. Subject #002, while that email log doesn't specify, could be Eve Randall? Though if we're counting straight down the list from the other image, it'd be Cassandra Darry.

Date is 3 years ago, once again, right around that time. Subject: ID-EXP77WRD5-002 is obviously dealing with the same chip that we were recruited for. Chip-77, as they call it.

I wonder if these two doctors were part of the team that was let go during that Research Dept. wipe. Might be time to consult Cory and see if he can't access some records.

EDIT: @Zobot257, how is yours different? If you have an opportunity, could you scan it and upload it? Or take pictures? Or carefully document every difference (lol)?

Not sure if this is/will be important but I brought the photo into photoshop and played around with the contrast among other things and in it you can see that Dr. Darling is highlighted and there are some odd lines at the bottom of the page. Also looks like the paper at one point might have been wet/crumpled.

Only to point out, Mnemosyne was the greek titan goddess of memory, so I guess it's not surprising that chip 77 wipes your memory out.

Well, it was a shot in the dark, but I tried emailing Dr. Reines and Dr. Darling. Just threw their name into @veilnanoscience.com addresses, and voila, no bounce-back, so it must have gone through. We'll see if I get a response. Getting them to open up is crucial to figuring out what happened to the old Chip-77 Project and its participants.

EDIT: Well, scratch that. That's weird as fuck. Someone doesn't like me sniffing around, cause I got this reply:

Whoever sent the email back, reply and ask if there is any way you can contact them. Or, see if Cory can get that info for us.

Whoever is pushing these emails out via the dataserver, we need to get a hold of them. Better access to data...

I don't think emailing Info Services is going to get me anywhere. And neither is Theresa. Just sent her an email asking about them, and she gave me the same run around with it being against company policy. She did wish me luck though. D'aw.

Sigh. Asked Cory, too, and he went through his database, and found the two doctors, but nothing but their names. No contact information, nothing. He said he'll keep digging around, but until then, I've got nothing to go on.

I've been trying to figure out what 16.01 could be in reference to, also. I doubt it's just a random file name. It's not an Arnold cipher, from what I can tell, either. Not long enough, not enough to go by.

I don't think they'd do the same puzzle twice, but maybe try destegging it with 16.01 as the password? Just an idea. Wouldn't hurt to try.

There has to be something to it all, though. Some reason it is sending it out. I am wondering if one of the past project participants (mainly Eve) were turned into some type of super computer. It would make sense, with the Frankenstein references. Even if it is not Eve, whoever it is/was is trying to tell us something....
