All the characters DID meet with a terrible fate. Hmm...

I'm sad about how abruptly this series ended, but I'm also kind of satisfied. This series was either going to end with all of them dying (;A; Alana) or something like this. I'm glad it went out with a bang (albeit a bang that separates it from the Slender Man Mythos, but quite an ending nonetheless).

I hope they all go off to do amazing things.

Angel's Game is the story of the lingering effects of a struggle between two supernatural entities. Seeing as both of those entities are gone, the story is over. Nothing I'm currently working on is set in the AG universe.

So, direct question: what's the deal with this tumblr supposedly set up by Stephen/the Collector? Was that the last manifestation of the game or was that just someone trying to gamejack your ending or what?

Also: congratulations for being the first Slendy-vlog (that I remember) that has actually managed to provide a halfway-decent ending. All the others I know of that have actually ended just kind of fizzled out.

I honestly don't know what is the deal with this tumblr supposedly set up by Stephen/the Collector. I'd say go ahead and make a new topic for it. I'll try and get in touch with the guy writing it if I can and see what is the deal with it.

And thanks, bro. It feels fantastic having done a series of this size through to the end. Thanks for watching, and I hope that someday our group will release some other fun tale for you all to ogle at.

Is anyone else getting a Johnny Truant feeling from 'hiscollector'? Also, should we regard it as a gamejack, or a separate story that happens to reference TAG?

EDIT: derp. Seems there's a thread for it now.

Read about this one in another thread and decided to give it a watch. It'll be interesting to see one through to the end, all the ones I've seen so far are currently on going, some for a couple years I think. I'm up to early December at this point. The acting is better than the early stages of some series and I like that a lot of the early videos appear to have nothing to do with the plot (a few containing hints of the main character having early stage Sleyndersickness that would be missed if you didn't know you were watching something Slendy related), it makes them feel more like someone had a real Vlog going and then shit got weird on them.

On the other hand there are some things that complicate watching it at this stage, I've got nothing but the dates on the videos to tell me what order to watch in and the main characters facebook page requires he respond to a friend request before I get to see the content he put there. I don't know if the author will respond to the friend request but having poked forward to the last page to confirm my suspicion that the series had ended I get the feeling the character is in no condition to be responding to friend requests. The earlier videos don't even seem to be discussed here (aside from checking the last few posts to make sure this one had ended I haven't looked too far ahead to avoid spoilers so they may have been brought up deeper into the thread) so I'm not sure what some of the coded information said, or if the codes were successfully broken by the folks watching when it was fresh. I don't even know if the main character ever realized that he filmed the events shown in "THINK_FAST.MOV" five days after that vid had been posted in the video "Dude needs to chill".

edit: The deviant art account linked to in "Return of the Tricorn" is unrelated, yes?

I just finished it myself. I think this is down to him having gone very quietly, but very completely, bugshit insane by that point. Not buying "Dad's on a business trip" either. Did one of the bag zombies kill Stephan's father or did he do it himself?

Given what has gone since, I'd be willing to wager Stephen did it himself.

Just finished watching the series over the last few days. Though I think it had some issues, it was still a pretty incredible series once the narrative really started going. Still in shock that they actually killed off the entire original main cast and that Stephen most likely killed himself as well. Very, very ballsy going for that dark a tone and not being scared to kill characters off. The mythology of it was very nice too; loved that they weren't afraid to depart from a Marble Hornets-ish take on the mythos.

Eh, I'm willing to bet he was on a trip.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Stephen, since he started his blog, has been extremely up front about his kills, never really showing any sign of repressing his memories regarding his killings.

Given what he says about the abusive relationship with his father, I'd wager chances are his father just goes off for weeks if not months at a time and doesn't bother to keep up with him unless he absolutely has to, a stark contrast of what we know so far about, say, the AU Stephen and his father

Wait, Stephen is a serial killer now? Confused I thought the last tweets in Angel's Game indicated he killed himself? I think I missed something.

First time posting! Have lurked for a while:

I have to say, I really did enjoy the Angel's Game. I know it's over and done with now, but the series(when I first saw it) just looked like a bad Slenderman fiction(with the whole shirt and tie difference, etc), but now that I've read a -little- about it my mind went crazy when the reality emerged. I really...was not expecting that.

Though I'm still confused on a few points:

a) From what I've read on this thread and through various google searches, the AG takes place in an alternate dimension similar to our own, but not. Is this true?

b) Slenderman was not -really- in this one. He(or it) was being imitated by another supernatural entity who was trying to "feed" on the cast. Correct?

Again, I'm sorry if these questions seem stupid. But I'm really wracking my brain to try to figure this out.

Go look at HisCollector, dear. xD Stephan is not dead at all, atm.

A.) Hrm, I'm not sure if it's necessarily not our own world, but I know that the continuation from this series (HisCollector/APCollection) is in a different universe from AG. SO, if you think APC/HC is in our dimension, then yes, AG would be in a different dimension than our own.

B.) Yes, it was a sick game between some Nephilim, which are... Like... Angel-human babies. There were hints throughout AG that it wasn't really Slenderman, like the changing of clothes. Nephilim!Slenderman would pick up random things and wear them. IIRC he stole some clothes during one scene where Josh (I think) looks in a room, leaves the room, and goes back. Clothes are there one shot and gone the next.
