the first hit that came up for yellow cactus is a diner in Floyds Knobs, In. About a 30-40 minute drive across the river for me....

THANKFULLY! I didn't come to the site before I worked on the code, he he. Amandel is dang good. Did anyone shoot that info over to her? I didn't see any comments on the blog post and that would be the best place for it.
Also, about what the poet wrote on the back of the address, "Very few poets can be trusted." I told her it's more than likely a round about way of him saying not to trust her superiors, seeing as they put the info in a book of poetry...
Her reply:
Quote:
And don't be ridiculous. OF COURSE I trust my superiors.

Crossroads I looked at the wikipedia entry of 'crossroads.' There is a Crossroads, TX 30 minutes away from Plano. I e-mailed Eden, if she had time, to see if there is anything worthwhile there.
Oh and aquarius904, I did send her the results of the string of numbers.

I got the trailhead email, and then another one with the link to the Blog.
I've chatted with our email correspondant a bit, and he gave me this address:
Quote:
I am at the airport waiting for a flight to Dallas. I cannot give my current location, but am headed to Plano to find CeCe McHale.
Here is the contact information I was given:
CeCe McHale
1515 Rio Grande Drive
Plano, Texas 75075
Maybe this address is something we could mail a real life letter to? I guess I'm playing in this one now. It got my interest. Maybe I'll fire off a letter, unless someone can find out if this is a fake address or not.
Give me a bit to catch up to this one. I'll probably make a proper start of it tomorrow.

I checked the address out on Google Maps and it's an apartment complex called The Brentdale Apartments. No record of a Ce Ce McHale or a CeCe McHale at that address. I suppose an apartment number may help, though.

Bad news She posted a new blog.
Hopefully everything will turn out ok for Eden...
Quote:
So I went to see Micah, and as promised he equipped me with cash and a handgun that he said was "good for a woman." He also gave me some information about what he refers to as "The Corp." Not a lot of details, and nothing I'm going to disclose here right now. He said that a lot of it I would have to find out on my own and he would show me how. He is giving me a list of contacts around the country and around the world, people in almost every location, so I have people to talk to and safe locations while I'm working on my mission. He also gave me some fake identification so that I can travel and get around more easily free of The Corp missions.
He said we could speak later, and that I should work on completing the mission, so The Corp doesn't get suspicious. He said not to get greedy or impatient, as The Corp watches me very closely and will not hesitate to have me eliminated if need be. After completing my part of the mission with CeCe, I was to report back to him for a hacking lesson (!).
Here's where I'm at right now:
At the police station.
When I went to the apartment complex listed at that address I realized I did not have an apartment number so I started knocking on doors and asking around. Turns out CeCe McHale was shot today in an apparent robbery. Holy crap!
I said I was an old friend, and was reassured that once I gave a brief statement I would be released. The gun is legal, has a permit, and is under the front seat of the car. The police don't know about it and have not asked to search me or the car. As far as the police know, my ID is legit and my identity is real. However, I'm nervous as all hell being here.
I sent a message to The Corp about her death. I got a one-sentence message back:
"We are not pleased."

An email from Eden:

CeCe McHale is dead and I'm being questioned.

Map It's good to know Eden didn't get in trouble with the police.
New blog post:

I've been given this map, told that this mission is called "Triangulation," and that I've already been given the first clue.
Maybe she could try the library again near C3....

Hi hollyhobbes. Am not seeing a "Map" blog entry. Was a map also attached in an email?

Amandel,
Sorry for the confusion. I meant email instead of blog. There is so much information spread out! I will be more careful next time.

You guys may have already figured this out, but Yellow Cactus is a painting by O'Keefe that currently hangs in the Dallas Museum of Art. Since the title of her mission is "Triangulate," perhaps Eden needs to find a location based on 3 places in or near Dallas? If that's the case, I would think that the Museum is probably one of the locations. Or maybe she just needs to go to the Museum and see the painting. What do you guys think?

I think that idea is sound. Have you suggested that to Eden yet? I saw O'Keefe when researching 'yellow cactus' but had no idea it was in Dallas. Good job ironnikki!
Also I feel like we haven't solved this puzzle yet:
Quote:
Nothing further
Nothing more
You can both enter and exit
through the door.
Words that come together
to form a key
can hold you prisoner
or set you free...
Find Ted.
Maybe it can be used for the map...?

That was solved. It was a clue saying it was a poet because it was done in a form that poets use.
