[TRAILHEAD] The Tulpa Effect

Watched the first few vids.
Not sure of the overall quality but its sort of refreshing

Pretty good so far. They haven't made me motion sick yet, the characters feel very real, the dialogue sounds natural. Her boyfriend seems like a bit of a douche but that might just be because he's terrified and trying to keep things secret (he's probably operating on the assumption that as long as she doesn't believe in Slenderman she's safe). They seem to be on an odd version of the slow burn, Slenderman and important details like the Tulpa effect have already been mentioned but nothing overtly supernatural happened until those two "Birthday" videos and I'm still not sure we've seen Slendy at all yet (I know, there was that figure in the most recent video, but the way it was back lit it could be a normal person, either one we've already met or a new one). Except for her boyfriend everyone still seems to think Slenderman is fictional.

I really like the heavily believable nature of this series and how it takes it's time going where it is going. I don't feel as if my time was wasted after watching what is up so far. The only problem that I have is the distortion sound in some of the episodes is pretty painful to sit through. I am looking forward to more.

The main thing I love about this series is that it feels very human to me, and not synthetic. I can totally believe that this is real shit happening.

Oh, yeah, maybe should have mentioned that there's a Twitter account (http://twitter.com/#!/tulpaeffect) considering that that's how I found them in the first place. Doesn't seem to be anything weird on the Twitter yet, but they did post yesterday.
