Its okay man, my crew finally got recognized on this board not too long ago and we're still below 150 views on average. With only 70 subs, Im still surprised we don't get a ton of views.

All I can say is don't give up. I'm in the prelim stages of a series of my own(prelim in this case = getting my friends to be the bait - er, "actors". Razz

) and it's a bit disheartening at first, especially with my severe anxiety. But keep at it and you'll do a fantastic job. Smile

See, actors haven't been a problem for me (mine's not slenderman, but regardless), since I'm a drama student. My suggestion is find some drama nerds, they largely love to act and, if they aren't currently in a show, are willing to give time, unless my friends are some kind of amazing exception.

It also largely removes the problem of "these guys can't act" that has haunted MH and TT, as well as numerous smaller vlogs. A good story support system is important here too. That's what I have my lovely fianc�e for. She's and English major, and she essentially wrote my story, with me adapting it to the ARG medium and providing important sticking points and effects ideas.

In short, yeah, it does suck to do it alone. If you have the option, I certainly wouldn't. And you'd never believe the kind of people that will help you out if you just ask.

I'm planning to start one next year, and my only problem is that I have no one to help me as well. I'm thinking clever camera tricks and a dummy should be fine, I haven't actually tried anything however.

I've tried 3 times to make a series, all of which failed. Without other characters it's quite hard to move plot forward.

Sit yourself anywhere that's not New Jersey. There will always be tons of actors and the like willing to do stuff. If not, ~~press gang~~ RECRUIT your friends.
