I wonder if simply helping the Princess to escape to a spare PC is within the plot of the game?

This looks like a simple search string. Orig scan on M. Efendi, found a reference to med records. search on her med records shows homulin. further searching on That links to Reflotron Plus and eventually to a link or note about coma risks, etc. its Possible that Auntie M is just fine. so far.

Perhaps it's more of a threat of action rather than evidence that action has already been taken?

The strategy behind having an ultimate weapon is letting your enemy know you have it, rather than using it on them and eliminating the need for the weapon. I don't think this would qualify as Mel "using kindness" to lure Dana into accomplishing her goals, but it isn't a direct physical threat to Dana at least. If i were Dana, even the threat of my beloved aunt being in danger would be enough to coerce me back home.

I think Aunt Margaret's coma is new, I was assuming that she is in one. That is the reason Dana is coming home.

What I want to know is what happened to bringing Dana in by treating her with kindness?? Or convincing Melissa that Dana is an asset?

It seems to me like this is Melissa's idea of a kinder, gentler way to deal with Dana. Remember, she has absolutely no conscience when it comes to executing her mission. We shouldn't trust her father than we can obstruct her.

That is a good point CC.

I'm sure we all remember Durga's view of "taking it easy" on the IRS auditor.

Poor Mr. Shibura... well, not so much, but when Durga was through with him, yeah...

Assuming Mel actually has placed Aunty Em in a coma, I can only imagine what's in store when Dana actually arrives home. I mean, surely Mel has incorporated herself into every part of the household she can. Parabolic lemonade failure, anyone?

Actually, it's when they realize that the half-finished Death Star has a fully-finished weapons system.

"It's a trap! That Death Star's fully operational!"

Maybe Melissa lied to us.

I keep getting the impression that her turn around on the Dana issue was a bit easy. Since we basically told her we'd not work for her if she took obvious action against Dana, [SPEC]maybe she just told us what she thought we wanted to hear?[/SPEC]

If she's got priorities like modern government and millitary officials she won't negotiate with terrorists.... to her Dana has been trying to kill her and distrupt her mission. I'd still be hurting even if a few crew said she didn't mean it.

It's a guess since there is no proof but it might put a different light on the Auntie M thing.

[Edit] Ok looking like I'm wrong, Melissa is working with Dana according to her latest communications. Ahh well!
