Whenever you get those codes you may want to mix them up a bit: Some constellation keys, some facility keys.....

I'd put my first ten on completing constellation keys. I nearly thought you got free ones for completing the facility.

Since I was wrong I've put the new set of ten on facility keys.

I need play testers for some puzzles. Would it be OK to post a couple with codes a rewards?

Hey Robotguy - I'd be willing to take them on. Probably won't get very far though. No doubt the codes will be gone before long. Wink

Cool. I knew the Venn diagram of people who needed codes and people who liked puzzles had to overlap somewhat, especially on this forum Very Happy .

So let's start off with a small wam-up word puzzle. One code each to the first two people to PM me the answer to this puzzle:

Wheel in the Sky

Please don't post the solution!

Since I'm playtesting, I'll definitely accept working solutions that aren't the same as mine, and I'll throw in another code to anyone who can point out the significance of the name.

Disclaimer: If you don't like puzzles, please don't play. I am only doing this to try to get get some play-testing, have some fun and give out some codes. I figure codes are small enough that people won't get bent out of shape about this, but if there are problems I will probably just hand out these three codes and disappear with the rest.

I'll try to post my big puzzle this afternoon, probably worth 5 codes to the first solver. I need to format it for internet delivery, though.

Update: Alright, this is my baby. I've been working on this one for quite a while. It will eventually end up as a physical puzzle using magnetic tiles to construct, but that's hard to download so here it is:

PolyCross

I think this one is tougher, and has never been play-tested before, so 5 , no, 6 codes to the first person to PM the solution!. That should be enough to get all the way through Facility 3!

Update:
Ogawa claimed the first code for "Wheel in the Sky." Congratulations!

Update again:
I made PolyCross a bit easier to print on a single sheet, and raised the reward. I really want to see if anyone can do this.

Another update:
Umuka has solved PolyCross and Wheel in the Sky and collected 7 codes! Great Job!

So, question. Has anyone bought a code and have it not work? Cause I bought one since I had the money and it didn't work (I'm pretty sure I got the code right too...)

That's a LOT of gum.

I really wish they could just put the codes on the Canadian packages, since this is the gum I buy all the time anyway.

Many people have had troubles getting the code input correctly. If it looks like a 0 it might really be a D, for example. Other threads have stated this already, but I'll mention it again for people who might have missed it: the sequence alternates, either letter-number or number-letter, repeated. Even if you think "no way is that an 8" go ahead and try every variant of what you think the letter or number might be. It's frustrating sometimes, but I've seen people in chat brute-forcing thru dozens of combinations of hard-to-read possibilities to get just one code to work. Good Luck!
