I just had major deja-vu because the same thing happened when we were waiting on an entry and it turned out to be "noentry/#29" and they wrote an almost identical thing on one of their blogs about waiting for something they ordered and we all figured out that it was prolly fake blood that they ordered after having viewed the contents of said video,

I'm not buying the "waiting for fake blood" because it's not that hard to make, right?

A SFX guy from another board wrote:

--A slight amount of Non-Dairy Creamer (slight amount being as much as it takes to make the karo syrup not clear anymore)

--Green or Blue Food Dye (the dark color is used to make the liquid less pink and more bloody, i suggest 9 to 12 drops of it, add 3 drops to start, stir, then keep adding in progressions of 3 until you get the desired affect.)

here's what it looks like:

not the best picture, there wasn't enough blue, but if you look at the concrete behind the sheet you will see what it looks like on everything but white.

Very much doubt fake blood. It's late September and halloween stores are already open. If Troseph needed something basic like that, then he could just go buy it somewhere local rather than ordering and having it shipped. Aside from that, any number of theater supply wholesalers would have it. Honestly, you can generally go into any Party City (or like all-year party supply store that has a "costume" section) and probably get some at any time of the year.

My guess is that it's something more technical - maybe a piece of equipment failed or was damaged, or there was some prop which was broken or lost (e.g. The chestcam harness broke or something).

[EDIT: should read the posts before posting myself, removed theory about it being post-production related]
