 		I always thought there were certain recurring 'anchors' of reality in in MH. The most prominent being that if you are on tape, you're anchored to that time and place, as you have evidence. Also, the slenderdoll in the hallway of Brian's house, I always thought of that as an anchor that kept you in the know of where you actually were. As soon as Jay lost track of that doll, he ended up (maybe) teleporting and getting lost.

Sounds about as plausible as a 7 foot tall suited man with no face. Very Happy

No but really, maybe that is how The Operator deals with our reality, only if there is "proof" that you existed or were somewhere were you there after he's had his way with you.

What if Masky's Mask is his Anchor! It'd explain why he wears it, and why he disappeared when Jay chased after him in Brian's house (When he took it off, and hung it on the doorknob) that one time. He may have deliberately teleported.
