Sooo I finally had a head bashing revelation. I finally figured out that the image was stegged. Procedding with the password I destegged it into a txt file. Now here comes the fun part. What did it say?

Well I can say that that site looks nothing like it did the first time around! But if the image from The Church was stegged, then it means that The Church put the coded message in there.... They wanted us to find this particular ipaddresser page and find the site again.

Or was it "again" for them on this timeline... I forget, how did we find the site the first time?

Really? I thought it was the same as last time I saw it. The only thing I thought was different was the audio.

We found it last time through the instructional videos that Malcolm interfered with and gave us the game terrigama and then proccded to a forums where a number letter substitution was used and gave us the words johnwilconson. Google did the rest.

So I guess this is at roughly the same time, just a different timeline. So yeah, maybe that does mean that Kevin's back in business.

Yeah, I remember the site having a bunch of children's drawings scribbled all over it, and there being more of a text than those two little paragraphs. I don't remember the creepy video at the bottom with a guy's face.

Please, try to answer the following questions if possible, cause i really can't see how it's possible for me to advance in the game:
a) What exactly did you do with the password

A and B: These go together. Stegged is a short term for Stenography it is where a file is hidden within a picture. You must have certain programs that allow it. When you do this you are required to insert the password which was the one that was given by the IP addresser page. The page that was stegged was the one they pointed out the third page of the wilconson letter.

C: This is your keyword. For example if the keyword you were using was "music" then it would be Username: Music Password: Music that's all there is to it. If in doubt click the little windows looking icon a screen will flash up and tell you your keyword.

D: The access codes are found when you are converting docs. It's the morse code you hear playing when you sometimes click on the file to unlock it.

Actually, Cherrytree, the bottom row of files isn't that way. The clue to what to put for their password is in the thing that pops up when you mouse over their icons. I forget what it is, though. I've already decoded those files.

I"m the only one I think so far has dug through the codes I have about 9 to 10 codes? (I would need to check my list.) but at a certain point I think it's 8? When you have to scroll down to see them. Seems to get deleted whenever I exit that screen. So as far as I know I shouldn't even have 10 codes. (Since the amount of files is less than 10.) So far I don't think anything happens with them yet.

The last email I recieved was the 19th (2 days before the last tweet.) So far it seems to be an information blackout. My post to Malcolm is half a month old. Alvarez's is not that old. So I fear I won't be getting any emails from Kevin (if it is back online) for quite awhile.

I just feel it's weird because when we were waiting for other updates we at least got tweets on progress or to keep us occupied. *Shrugs* Maybe they're just concentrating on the 3D side for the moment?

EDIT: Don't get me wrong. I understand that splitting their team to work on Flash and the 3D part is probably a bitch. So I know leeway for updates is a given I would just like some sorta update to keep me placated like they did when IDGI1 site was being made. Not this blackout.

I totally understand what you mean there, cherrytree. I am a curious being by nature, I like to learn, and I like a good story, so all this gets me excited and brings out the somewhat childish impatience in me--but just a little. It gets you pumped and wanting to know what the heck is going on!

Anyways I'm going to work on a guide to stuff in the ARG while we have the free time and upload it to my site. It'll be nothing fancy (White background black text.) but I have no HTML or any web design experience whatsoever and i only use the site for something that requires nil on that part. I may have part of it done by this weekend.
