Is it just me or is Jay the worst breaker-and-enterer ever? He shifted a bunch of stuff around in Alex's room and just TOOK the tape. Didn't replace it with a blank one or anything. Just took it.

I'd think he'd hate to be on the wrong end of Alex's rock by now, but he sure will be when he finds out Jay took the tape.

Also, so sad that Tim & Jay didn't get to have a nice little chat Sad

Not that I expected it, but I just wanted Tim to plunk down next to Jay on the grass and go "So how's tricks?"

Here, as I see it, are the things worth discussing:

-Alex's drawings--particularly the use of the X symbol to respresent "eyes" or lack thereof--we haven't seen the symbol used in this way before. "Return Home" has got to mean something.

-Why does Alex keep a lighter in a secret compartment in his drawer? The tape I can see, but the lighter seems strange. I'm initially tempted to think Alex burned down Jay's apartment way back in season 1 and he was "hiding the evidence", but that's a little ridiculous--how would owning a lighter implicate him?

-Too late at night to check now, but I wonder--were all those boxes in Alex's apartment there when Jay broke in before?

-Why didn't Jay see any evidence of Bruce's murder? Given that we don't actually SEE Jay walk through the tunnel(tape ends), could something have happened? It doesn't seem like it could be #29 here, since he hasn't got the chest camera.

-Why has Alex stopped taping himself?

The scribbled drawing that really gets me though is the "Return Home" Who's home? Alex's? The one from the beginning of MH? Or the one we see in Entry 37 at little!Alex's birthday party? And why? Is it a desire of Alex's? Or does TO desire it and it reflects on to Alex?

Or, is TO trying to return home, wherever home is for him? Have the MH inadvertently trapped him? Or has he been trapped for a long long time and somehow, Alex and co. can get him home?

Also, maybe my eyes aren't working, but I don't see any signs of murder in the tunnel this time around.

The camera's moving quite fast when we see the tunnel, and I sort of see a flash of white around 8:02 that COULD be Bruce's shirt, but I'm not sure.
