@shaded Are you talking about the Light Cone diagram when you say broken hourglass? A Light Cone is a description of space-time relating to time travel... I'd link but I'm on my phone :/

lachesis: On the Light cone - it is similar but very different since there is the part which is definitely "sand" in the hourglass.

Hm. If KVDR exists "backwards" in time, this might put their interventions in the series into a different context.

What if they ended up pursuing the boys due to the boys getting all entangled in slendy stuff, whilst the boys only got entangled because Kind was pursuing them?
