If that's the case, username is probably Ted
Not sure about the password yet, gonna have to think about it.

I was thinking the username could be CPA. I've tried a few 8 letter words in relation to time and light for the password but nothing has worked so far... I sent them an email to clarify that the password is 8 letters.
Edit: I figured I'd list pswd's I've tried:
Einstein
SHawking
Timeloop
Timecone
CPAlight
timelike
wormhole

Regarding the "in time" puzzle:
After informing CPA of the Majestic theater being in play, received e-mail reply stating "Thank you, but how will YOU use the information?"
That, and the "the" clue plus 3 and 8 letter spaces gave me:
Username:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the
Password:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
majestic
Which leads to another level to the puzzle...any thoughts?

Good work, mathews512! I had tried the same username, but couldn't figure out the password.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Since we have one point of our supposed triangle as a username/password combo, I wonder if the other two points will be the answers to 1. and 2.? It kind of fits: the art museum might be considered a "cradle" for the Yellow Cactus, and the 6th floor museum could represent the grave of JFK. I'm going to submit these and see what comes back.

Well, I tried "052917" and "112263" re: JFK and was rewarded with a server error...
update: no more server errors, but apparently JFK's cradle and grave dates are incorrect (with or without slashes).

Neither do the birth and death dates for Lee Harvey Oswald or the opening and the (first) closing of The Majestic Theatre...
Edit: I also tried birth and death and got an error page. But when I tried the dates the screen just refreshed... Interesting
Edit Edit: Looking at cradle and grave I tried the places of JFK's birth (Brookline/Massachusetts/Brookline, Massachusetts) and the place where he is buried (Arlington/Arlington National cemetery/Arlington, Virginia) and I'm getting server errors.
Update: Just got a reply:
Quote:
Your submission was incorrect. Think concrete vs. abstract.
1. birth
2. death
And now the site is updated with this:

Note: You will receive a confirmation email if you enter the correct response.

Apparently, somebody's figured it out, since their Agents page has been updated. Anyone wanna share the wealth?

AH! I didn't notice that. The Juggernaut would be me.
My answers:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Cradle - Birth - JFK's place of birth. Brookline, Massachusetts/
Grave - Death - Where JFK is buried - Arlington Virginia
Edit:
Just got my reply email:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Congratulations! You have submitted the correct answer. You will added to our list of new agents and you will receive your next agent challenge soon.
1. Brookline, Massachusetts
2. Arlington, Virginia

Good job everyone! Sorry to be joining the party late... stupid job. At least we're one step closer! It's kind of frustrating that the light cone and time travel had nothing to do with the username and password...

Just got an email leading to the next challenge for the CPA agents!
EDIT: It requires a username and password again. The previous ones didn't work, and this is on the home page now:
x^a(\tau),\; a=0,1,2,3

Inventor Challenge I have tried submitting different username and password combinations using the other 2 triangulation points. So far I've tried DallasMuseum/ofArt, The/Museum, Dealey/Plaza, The/Plaza. None have worked so the answers may be in a different format. I'll try using light cones and time travel references again and see what I get...

The username and password for the Inventor Challenge is one I had tried for the last challenge. Spoiled the solution for those that want to try it on their own.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you do a search on that equation you will find it's a world line equation which was invented by Albert Einstein.
username = albert
password = einstein

Nice, LatentMoths! I've been searching for that for the past 30 minutes, and came up with nothing. Guess I need to brush up on my Google-Fu.

No, I haven't yet. I'm excited to see what this challenge is going to involve though. The people I have on my list are people I've got an extreme interest in!
