My prediction for Entry 51:

Just before it's release Jay tweets something along these lines:

I've watched the 56-42 tape over and over and I still don't get why it's so important. Going to upload it so you can see it for yourselves.

To us - and to Jay - the tape looks like nothing more than footage of Amy all happy and smiling, occasionally with bits where Amy and Alex are happy and smiling together. Fun times, with no signs of Operators or Maskies or anything anywhere.

The true import of this is revealed in Entry 52, at the start of which Alex is like "So, did you watch the tape?" (having guessed, when Jay turns up late to Rosswood, that he'd spent the intervening time breaking into Alex's apartment and then watching the tape using his camera's playback features). When Jay confirms this, Alex demands the tape back; not believing there's any significant evidence on it, Jay complies. (He regains the tapes a bit later, at the same time that he acquires Alex's chestcam and footage.)

Jay says that he understands why Alex was being protective of the footage and is about to half-heartedly apologise for being an ass about it before Alex interrupts Jay and explains what the tape represents - the sole remaining evidence that Amy was left alive, provided to him by the Operator as a reward for his service.

The freakiest twist? When Alex watches the tape, he can actually talk to Amy and she'll talk back to him.

Whoa, that's....yeah, mindfuck.

I liked this theory right up until the last line.
Cool idea, not going to happen though.

Yeah, I agree about the last line although I would think it would be sad (but not a twist) if at one point he had filmed a conversation he had with Amy, where Alex was behind the camera while Amy was the only one being filmed and we hear a conversation about Amy kind of wanting the camera out of her face, but still giggling, while Alex teases her and then telling Alex that they have to stop messing around and go get groceries. Alex rewatches the tape constantly and gets to the point where he repeats all of his lines in that tape just so he can pretend to talk to her again.

If this happens, we'll all have to start scouring John Dies At The End because seriously, that's straight from the book. Laughing

Oh. Wait. Alex and Amy "don't have a camera." I don't think that theory is very possible anymore. If anything, it would be of footage of Amy after the encounter with the Operator.

it'd be neat if they revealed that TTA took amy and the next TTA video is a video of her being held hostage begging for alex to give into their demands

What motive would TTA have? slash I'd feel so ripped off if MH turned into a generic "LOL Gimme 20 Dollars or you'll never see her again!" story.

Maybe Jay broke his leg when he was walking over to his pile of tapes, so he's been in the hospital, away from his computer and twitter for the past few days.

Heres my explanation as to why we have no new entry. The tape could be extremely long and have very few noteworthy things in it. I don't know how long these tapes can be, but if its over 4 hours, and 99 percent of it is random crap, J probably would get bored watching it.
