Oh yeah, that prediction is awesome.

One thing though. The Operator doesn't actually give Alex the physical tape, does he? I'm assuming The Operator took Alex to the place where Amy is, in another dimension or something, and Alex films the contents of that tape with his camera.

There's actually a bit of evidence to back this whole prediction up though.

Entry #43 - Alex confronts the Operator at the end. He goes to this "other place" and sees Amy for the first time since her disappearance. He either doesn't record it with his chestcam, or he moves the file off the chestcam's hard drive before Jay acquires it. Maybe he wanted a hard copy (a tape) of visiting Amy. Maybe digital equipment simply doesn't work in the Operator's realm.

Entry #44 - Alex returns from his first visit. He calls Jessica and tells her that he "got in touch with Amy." The Operator takes him again at the end, but without his chest camera. Maybe he's holding his handheld camera when he goes to sleep? I dunno, but it's not important because he may have returned later when we didn't see it.

Entry #45 - This Entry begins being filmed through the chest camera. We see Alex switch his handheld camera's tapes, as if something important is on that first tape. That was probably the "56-42" tape, which he recorded in the "other place" sometime between Entry #44 and #45. The tape he put into his camera was the tape that he filmed the rest of Entry #45 with, when he chased after Hoody. Entry #45 is the only known time that Alex used his handheld camera this season, probably because it conveniently happened right after he filmed "56-42".

It all makes too much sense.

Well, this delay is possibly intentional. Consider the possibilities:

-Jay has been taping himself 24 hours a day for seven months. That's a lot of tapes, only a fraction of which are relevant. Consider how long it took since Entry 38 for him to stumble across the rest of the tapes for that day in the most recent entry? They could just be making us wait because it IS plausible and to get us more excited for the next one.

-Jay doesn't HAVE the tape anymore. He got it in the lost seven months, but given the importance of it, and that Alex will certainly notice that it's missing, it's entirely plausible that it's he doesn't have it in the present. He's not gonna post anything to twitter until he's sure it's not in his possession.

-Something has happened to Jay since the posting of #50. I would think we'd get SOME indication fairly soon if this is the case, but it could go on for a little while, precisely because Jay's gotta get out of whatever pickle he's in before he gets back to the computer.

The only reasons I could think of Troy OOG not being able to tweet even though he's on Facebook is...

1. I go on Facebook all the time, but it doesn't mean I'm using it. It's just open when I'm on the internet or even when I'm doing homework.

2. Tweeting for Marble Hornets is hard, I imagine. With the tweet, you automatically establish canon. So if you say the wrong thing, or let some information leak that you didn't mean to show yet, then things can go wrong very easily. So, he has to be careful with how much he tweets.

3. Or maybe he just doesn't feel like it.
