I believe this is unrelated to the site/game
I was searching online for information about the dog, and I came across a craigslist posting for a lost dog named Scruffy Mcgee.

The dog does not look like the one in the comic in any regard. I believe this, and the previously found posting to be listings of crazy random happenstance.

 		This could be unrelated, but I didn't want to start a new topic just in case:

Has anyone been messing around with the extensions on the traelek phone? If you put 8 it asks to put some letters of a person's name and then press #. I tried Bobbi and Scruffy and Mcgee but it didn't take any of them. Maybe I wasn't supposed to try this yet, or maybe it was from a past ARG, who knows. Just thought I'd bring it up.

It's been mentioned before but as you said it's either not live yet or doesn't go anywhere. I tried all 2 and 3 letter combos one night and none of them gave me anything.

 		The first advert for the lost dog is convincing... The wording of it is similar to the odd way other things in this game sometimes are, as well as the comments underneath. It doesn't really line up with how a normal ad would be... CC is mentioned in a comment, but I don't see where CC can be tied to the poster's name. I tried fiddling around with letter combinations on the traelek site, to no avail.
