As demonstrated by the original thread, second (and possibly third) floors are no deterrent to the Slender Man. In some reports, he's as tall as buildings.

You look out your front door at night wondering if Slenderman was ever standing out there, looking in.

You look out your front door waiting for Masky or Slenderman to walk by ominously.

You look at the lamppost at the end of your driveway, wondering how creepy it would be if Slenderman was standing under it (at night of course, when the lamppost is on).

You are a freshman in college, and see a random guy that has a very very similar face/body shape to Alex. No big deal, right? Alex has a somewhat common face structure.
But then you see him in part of this Fraternity initiation thing, and he's... carrying around a rock. You and your MH-friend both just stare at him for a few minutes before quickly walking away.

Later on you ask him why he was carrying around the rock (it was for Frat, something about carrying your burdens or something) and find out his name is Tim and nearly sprint away.
