I honestly think that the reason for the large gap between entry 50 and any kind of update is on purpose.

Troy and Joseph aren't stupid. I'm sure that, considering the ending to the entry, they already had everything set for the mystery tape footage. I believe they try to keep their series a little too realistic to be so unprofessional. ("Well, that's entry 50. Fans will be wanting an update on the mystery tape soon, what should we do?" "Meh, we can go film something it next week.") No, I don't think so lol.

I can see us getting some kind of Twitter update stating something along the lines that Jay has been traumatized after viewing the tape. Or what he found was so shocking he wasn't sure what he should do with it. Or that he can't find it and has been searching everywhere. Or that he was murdered and, wait, what? Nevermind.

I think people are reading too much into the simple phenomenon that Jay and crew live OOG and thus it gets shifted to the side sometimes. Better to delay than half ass. Furthermore... we have about 2-3 episodes left (ignoring TTA stuff).

They are winding us up to something big. I can feel it in my abnormally long limbs and neatly pressed suit-tie combination.
