Ah, yes. Man, FOUR timelines when this is complete? It's gonna be hard to keep track!

For everyone here's the current list of cords:

x-044##72 : B : 18.88 -136.22
x-044##72 : G : -35.88 88.24
x-044##72 : P : 67.81 56.95
x-044##72 : V : -25.19 -60.01
x-044##72 : Y : 46.55 -116.22

x-846##99 : D : -81.01 129.38
x-846##99 : M : -33.30 30.23
x-846##99 : V : -4.55 -58.22

Also would anybody like me to transcript the emails from both sides so we can see differences?

That would be useful, but it would be quite a bit of work for you.
Do you have OCR software? You could just take screenshots and OCR them. Or, if not, just take screenshots.

Also, it looks like those X- numbers correspond to the coord sets.

Then I'll see what i can do about it.

There's been no change to the johnwilconson site yet, and there's been no reply to any of my forum posts. (Since the PM's pointed out the forum no reply thing that is a bit concerning)

Going on the assumption that we'll get 4 every time jump. 42/4 equals 10.5 so that means we have at least 8 more time jumps to go. Only if they blast us with more one time.

Excuse the double-post, but there is now a far bit extra on the desktop after the time jump no surprise there.

Sorry Seadevil, but most of it has been mentioned. If you want to get rid of the morse files on your desktop put in "infiltratek1" into the password bar on the internet screen.

Also we've found 8 new cords so far confirming we have 2 sets so we still have 34 more to find.

Aside from the rest, how does someone end on one side? Does it have to do with a certain choice/decision?

I am with Church btw.

Edit: In the e-mail screen, there is a little moving x in the background. If you click it, you will get this:

Seems fammiliar... Wink

You end up on the church's side if you answer the quiz question. You end up on henry's side if you don't answer the quiz question. I still find it weird that after all this time we're seeing the bishop symbol again.

This is odd, I'm having trouble accessing the idigi sites. It seems to load up partway, but not all the way. The idigi-1.net one just stays at the "LOAD_WAIT" screen; the other site--the first one--lets me select Experience, loads some, but then gets stuck at the "Accessing Idigi-1" page.

Miss You!!! (Henry Side)

Long time since we've talked, sister!! How is life in Miami?? I hope school is going well, and that boy of yours better be treating you right! If he's not you just tell him your big sister will drive up there from Mexico and beat the snot out of him! Just joking. I know Max is a great guy. Tell him I say hello!

It's same old same old around here. I'm telling you, i'm about three nerves away from ditching this gig at the post office. All that stuff you hear about postal workers losing their shit is pretty accurate. But every once in a while, you just get one of those perfect customers who not only makes your day, but renews your faith in the human race.

It was early Tuesday morning, raining, and I was in a miserable mood. Jose and I just had a HUGE fight the night before, and I had been trying to call him to apologize but he wasn't answering his phone. Then, just as I'm about to start tearing up work (yeah, I know, bad form, Sophie!) this man walks in with the biggest smile on his face. He wanted to send flowers to his wife back home, and as we went through the catalogue he told me all about her. The love pouring out of him was just so strong and intense... well, it totally made my day. He let me talk all about Jose, too. Told me not to worry, that if we had stuck together this long (I can't believe it will be three years this April!), then a silly fight over his boy's weekend away would surely blow over.

In the end, he sent his wife a care package with purple and pink hydrangea, orchids and roses. I hope she knows how lucky she is!!

So that's my news for the week. I hope it brings a smile to your face like it did mine!

Give me an update on all the wedding plans, kay? As your sister and maid of honour, I'm dying to hear details, missy!

Love me xoxo

It's same old same old around here. I'm telling you, i'm about three nerves away from ditching this gig at the post office. All that stuff you hear about postal workers losing their shit is pretty accurate. I know you love hearing my work stories, so here's one for the books...

The caffeine from my coffee had barely started kicking in when this guy ran in... pale as a ghost, out of breath and seating like a pig. It was only 8am on at Tuesday morning, so I was the only one in there. He was all over the place, it was really hard to understand a word he said, but basically he had this letter he needed mailed Express to his wife back "home" but when I gave him the form to fill out, he had a panic attack about having to write his own name and info for the return address. More than a little suspicious. I was moments away from pushing the panic button myself. But the look in his eyes was so desperate... I don't know why, but I felt really bad for him.

Then, just as I was taking the envelope from him, this cop ran in! The man started freaking out and crying for help, babbling something about being held captive... and then the cop took out his club and smacked the guy right across the face! The cop later told me that he was a wanted criminal fleeing custody... ha, but you know just as well as I do how "clean" our police force is. After arresting the guy, some more officers showed up and questioned me for a while longer, and that was that.

I don't know why I didn't give them the letter... this man just looked so afraid, and that cop hit him with such unnecessary force, and well, you know how I am with authority. Maybe I shouldn't have, but I mailed the letter anyway. Whatever he was trying tell his wife must've been real important to go through all that.

So that was my excitement for the week! You sure you don't miss home??

Give me an update on all the wedding plans, kay? As your sister and maid of honour, I'm dying to hear details, missy!

I've been keeping tabs on Kevin. It's hard! He's so wrapped up in his work, he will barely make any time for socializing. I tried to get over to his place for a visit tonight, but he just kept insisting that he had too much going on. I offered my help, like you suggested, but he just brushed me off. I don't think he likes me anymore – maybe Patricia would have better luck at this?

The only person he makes time for is that babysitter of his. He won't talk to me about anything, but I bet you any money he talks to her! I can start cozying up to her, if you want? I think she might be an easier source of information. I know you wanted to hear things right from the horses's mouth, but he's just too hard a nut to crack. I don't see it happening.

Any ideas?

Yours faithfully in Light,
Mel

I've been keeping tabs on Kevin. It's hard! He's so wrapped up in his work, he will barely make any time for socializing. This is why I decided to just show up at his apartment tonight, unannounced. He invited me in and I attempted to get him talking about K-1. He's still kind of tight-lipped with his progress, but he did tell me that Henry was no cooperating with him. His exact words were, "annoying little brat." He wouldn't say much more than that, but was definitely frustrated by the machine. This could be good for us. Maybe it's time we show him the truth?

I think he sees his babysitter more than anyone, really. If you want, I can start cozying up to her instead? She's a little more accessible than Kevin is right now.

Let me know!

Yours faithfully in Light,
Mel

Hey Pattie, how's it going? It feels like it's been AGES since we've hung out! Not avoiding me, I hope? Wink

I was wondering if you wanted to go for drinks after the meeting on Wednesday? You know our new guy, Kevin, well Malcolm's having me do a little bit of re-con on him and his work with Worldview. He doesn't seem to be opening much to me at all though. I thought you might have better luck – for obvious reasons! (You may not have noticed, but he checks you out at EVERY meeting...)

Anyway, I thought we could chat about that a bit at the bar (Malcolm doesn't like me talking about it online), and also just catch up! I know we're both busy, but it won't kill us to cut loose a bit. I miss you, you know!

Let me know if you are free!

In Light,
Mel

Hi Melinda!

Of course I'm not avoiding you, what a silly question! You know how life gets.

I don' know what help I can be, but sure we can have drinks on Wednesday. It will have to be an early night though. I work Thursday morning.

He's been checking me out, you say? I hadn't noticed. I've only spoken to him a handful of times. He seems okay. I don't understand why Malcolm would want to do re-con on him, so maybe you could fill me in?

See you Wednesday – looking forward to it!

In Light,
Patricia

I was wondering if you wanted to go for drinks after the meeting on Wednesday? We need to talk, girlfriend! I have juicy gossip! You know that new guy, Kevin Chard, well I've been spending a blot of time with him, and he's absolutely ga-ga for you! Checks you out at every meeting, and keeps asking about you. I said I would put in a good word for him. Wink

Besides that, we need to catch up, lady! I know life is busy, but I think we could both afford to cut loose a bit.

Let me know if you are free!

Hi Heather,

I would like to start by saying thanks. I know you have been working overtime against company policy. I've watched you sneak back in on certain nights and continue working when nobody else is around. I've seen your work, and I have to say I'm very impressed with how well you treat your employees and handle sticky situations. I know your job is very tough and sometimes it can seem endless, but somehow you manage to get through it. I very much want to help, but unfortunately this is the best I can do right now.

I hope you hang in there and keep working hard. I know David and Raymond would be happy to know how much you care about the project. Please promise you will take it easy. I would be very sad if you get sick or something on behalf of the company.

Anyway have a good night and I hope everything goes well for you.

Happy Valentine's Day,

Your Secret Friend.

Hi Heather,

I was going to start by wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day, but then I remembered, you don't have a date, and bringing it up would probably be just plain mean. In fact, not only do you NOT have a date – you are probably spending the night sitting at your desk catching up on everyone else's work, am I right?

And the reason you're catching up on everyone else's work is probably because no one respects you enough in the first place to meet your deadlines. So why do you keep trying so hard at a job that you're obviously not cut out for? You're our personnel systems manager and yet our personnel all hate your guts!

I've seen the way the others treat you, and it seems to me like you'd be much better off if you just quit. Stop torturing yourself over a position you will only continue to fail at, and help to improve this company's efficiency by removing yourself from the equation. It's so simple, Heather!

Happy Vaentine's Day,

Your Friend.

Greetings, Dr. Schelter

As per your request, here are my thoughts on Kevin Chard's first week of working with the machine. We'll speak more in depth when you arrive here in a few days.

As we expected, it's definitely slow to respond to Chard's stimuli. This is likely a result of the A.I. Interface not understanding Chard's purpose, and not to do with Chard's approach, however we will need a few more weeks of experimentation to be certain. Chard is taking the slow progress somewhat personally, though I am encouraging him to have patience.

Thus far, Chard has presented himself as a dilligent worker, very passionate towards his new position, and eager to make progress. As long as the machine can eventually warm to him, I foresee no issues on the horizon.

Yours sincerely,

Thank you, Raymond, for your prompt report.

The work from the first week, while yielding few results, is precisely what I had hoped to see. Chard appears to intuitively understand the direction we need Henry to develop in, which pleases me greatly. It means that we will be free to focus on subsidiary tasks and trust this work to Chard entirely. Please point out to him that this is not "slow" progress at all. Henry's response levels to the primal stimuli, while low, are still present. This means that at least, in a very small degree, he is aware that Chard is attempting to communicate with him.

Henry is being stubborn, as any child would be, but it's certainly nothing to worry about yet. You knew this would be a hard job when you took it, Ray, but rest assured you are doing fine work and Walter will be proud when he returns!

Please keep me updated once per week of Henry's progress under Chard. I am very curious to see which stimulus will be the one to generate the first prominent response. Sort of like waiting to hear your baby's first word.

Kind regards,

David Schelter

David,

So with regards to Kevin Chard's first week of working with the machine. It doesn't look good. The machine is avoiding any and all communications with Chard. I'm not sure if this is because Chard is new to it, or because of the methods Chard is using, or something else entirely.

Obviously it's too early to tell, but if we still haven't seen an improvement in the next few weeks, I'm going to suggest that Walter speak to Chard about his approach and correct him if necessary. I hope you have a suitable backup plan if this wonder-kid of yours continues to fall flat on his face.

Chard is taking the slow progress somewhat personally, understandably considering he's getting paid to do nothing right now. We can't have his bruised ego getting in the way of our work.

If you have any further questions, let me know.

Ray.

Thanks Ray,

Let's hope these results are due to this new process of training, and not indicative of things to come. For all the effort we put into acquiring Chard and giving him access to such highly classified information – he better pan out. We don't need yet another compromising situation to arise and we certainly can't afford to lose another such talented employee.

You and I both know what needs to be done if he does not work out as planned. So keep on top of it. I trust you to navigate the situation professionally and if need-be, discreetly. You knew this would be a hard job when you took it, but rest assured you are doing fine work and Walter will be proud when he returns!

Greetings Dr. Schelter

We've definitely seen a drastic improvement from Weeks 1 and 2! The A.I. Now seems willing to cooperate with Chard, and is expressing more and more interest in the exercises. The two are now developing a healthy working relationship, and I look forward to the kind of results their new dynamic will yield.

You mentioned earlier about your particular interest in the first stimulus to generate a strong response in the machine, and we now have this. As the stats show, the strongest response (by far!) we have seen to date is to the stimuli associated with Compassion. I'm sure you are quite intrigued by the circumstances, so I will here copy & paste the statement Chard included in his own Progress Report to me:

"The particular stimulus was old video footage of an orphaned hippopotamus which had been "adopted" by a century year-old tortoise following a tsunami on the Kenyan coast. The first images showed the hippopotamus standing alone and witling, and pacing back and forth retracing his steps. Henry responded to this with a feeling of grief. The next images showed the hippopotamus and the tortoise swimming together, eating together, and sleeping side by side. Henry's feelings of remorse were immediately replaced with ones of relief."

The other article of note for Week 3 I would ike to draw your attention to is the virus the machine acquired. We're still not sure how it happened – Chard is as stumped as we are. The A.I. Appears to have resolved the issue with its own internal "immune" system, but still, the event is somewhat troubling. We are keeping a watchful eye for additional symptoms its mainframes may have missed.

That about sums up Week 3. Once again, if you have any questions please contact me.

Yours,
Ray

Thanks, Raymond!

One month down, only one to go before Walter returns. I hope you're enjoying yourself because you're doing an excellent job filling his shoes!

It's been an exciting week! It is encouraging that Henry's first strong reaction was to the Compassion stimuli. When Kevin presented his program to me of the 7 Virtues, intended to build K-1's moral and ethical codes, I knew the process would be slow but effective. Knowing the components we've included within the program to date, I had hoped the first stimuli reaction would be to Compassion. The other virtues, while excellent guides, can more easily be manipulated to fault. Compassion, however, can function as a failsafe. As long as Henry can feel sympathy for the suffering of others, he will remain on track for his purpose.

Regarding the virus; this could be a fluke or a symptom of a greater problem. I want your team on this immediately before any final conclusions are drawn – find out as much as you can. Bring in workers from other divisions if you need to, these are the kinds of issues we need to act swiftly against.

Keep me up to date.

And here we are at the end of Week 3. As you will see, we have actually had some progress this past week. Not mcuh, but some. The machine and Chard continue to have difficulties communicating, although now I am suspecting this may have more to do with Chard's attitude, rather than the A.I.'s. I have reprimanded Chard once already for his negativity. I am not sure if he is having personal issues or what, but I told him that kind of bull shit needs to be left at home and not brought to work with him. To Chard's credit, he seemed genuinely apologetic and assured me he will work harder to maintain his optimism with the project, despite its slow progress.

Some items of note. First of all, the machine has acquired its first virus. Both Chard and I are somewhat concerned as to the implications of this and quite frankly I wish Walter was here for this one. The problem seems to have been mostly resolved on its own; the "immune system" program we installed handled the virus precisely as we had anticipated. It does however beg the question how this happened in the first place. Don't worry though, we're on it. Whatever it is, we'll nip it in the bud.

Secondly, the machine had its first reaction to Kevin Chard's 7 Virtue Stimuli today. I thought you might find this noteworthy, that the first stimulus to produce a response was the Diligence virtue. Now, I'm not altogether sold on Chard's program. He designed it to "keep Henry's morals on track" or some such nonsense – but I am pleased that we are making headway in this department. Once the machine has produced a response to all 7 virtues, we can move forward with its training.

As always, you know where to reach me if you have any questions.

Take care,
Ray.

Hi Ray,

One month down, only one to go before Walter returns. I hope your enjoying yourself because you're doing an excellent job filling his shoes!

I think we still may be able to gain something from Chard's work, despite this current issue of stilted communication. I mean, the kid's a prodigy for crying out loud! And Project K-1 is a challenge; there is no doubt about that. I remain faithful in Chard's abilities, though I can't vouch for his personality. With all the effort put into this program, I'm not surprised he is taking the failures personally. I'd suggest giving him some time off but we do not have the time for that – losing Walter for two months was a big enough hit as it was. I'm not ready to write the kid off yet. As a last resort I'm sure we can find other uses for him – the motor chip is going to need some test subjects after all, right? Wink

Regarding the virus. The latest worldwide statistics showed a 468% increase of malicious software identified in 2027. There are literally more computer viruses circulating to date than can be counted. Law of averages states that Henry would be affected by something of this nature eventually. If his mainframe was able to handle the intrusion without our intervention, then there is nothing to be concerned about. Don't waste your team's time on such a little issue.

Excellent news about Henry's fist response! I look forward to seeing which order the remainder of the virtues are met.

Sincerely,

David Schelter

Where did you get those emails?

I just went back and caught up (I thought) to 3 12 2028 and I was able to read some emails but all I saw was some Guardian Church emails, including one where Melinda Bellinghurst gets taken in by a Nigerian email scam LOL. Plus there was some back and forth about a Church guy who's daughter died and then his wife was in an accident (conspiracy theory says that it was caused by the Church, of course).

so as usual, I am confused by this game. Smile
