Mapping GPS in the UK

Just seen the complete listing of today's axons, and I note there is one in the UK:

Quote:

11:21 PDT
51.5128, -000.132001

I'm hoping its the one I submitted in Nottingham, but its slightly different to what I submitted. How can I convert this to lat/lon to confirm?

Hope it is mine!

Max

Well, according to Mapquest UK, it's still in London. Sorry. Confused

Well, according to Flidget Jerome's post in "London Coordination", those are the coords to the axon he submitted.

Goddamnit. I even sent in the secondary confirmation images (and a video) showing a closeup of the booth itself. Shall now email Melissa requesting that it be added to the next lot of axons.

I do think it sucks that there are a few hundred in the States and only the one in the UK. It's not like we're not willing!

Ah well, I shall just return to watching you lot having all the fun Wink

You can have some of mine... Since I'm the only one here, you might actually suggest that to Melissa. Trade some of mine that I can't get to (like 35.085850 -106.620920, 35.085860 -106.620780, and 35.086060 -106.619780) for yours. It seems only fair, for either of us.

Dragonrider, thanks for that; I'll definitely include those axon coords in the email when I send it to Melissa. It highlights the point that we are coordinating over this, which can only be a good thing!

We're going to see if we can get some photos in for the new task, maybe she'll like us even more then.

Cheers again!

Max
