Here are a few modern/future connections that come to mind:

Jeep/tank = Warthog
Helicopter = Pelican
Computer desktop = holographic Cortana

Maybe I'm a bit behind in my computer lingo, but pictures are digital. When she asks for the eqivalent version of our present day picture she asks for it in analog?

Am I missing something?

Burritos for one :p
Cars, computers/cellphones (chatter), weapons, medical supplies, I suppose that a naval ship would be the analogous form of the space ships...

Vending machines! Photograph one, then a second one can be edited for the brand display. Possibly, she may also accept creatively altered items in real life--on a vending machine (for example), put some art up on it physically... something as a "speaker" for voice output, ID scanner of some sort, etc. That would fall in line with last week's tasks of displaying our skills.

i think she meant analog as in an analogy... the analogus equivilant in the future.

I am not a crew member, so can I still send in some photos to help out?

Actually, now, I think that's exactly what she's after. We need two photos in a single email, if I'm reading this correctly; one of something real, from here and NOW, and a second one of the same thing, Photoshopp'd (or similarly edited) to look like it's aged 500+ years.

I'm DEFINITELY going to need someone with artistry skills' help...

yeah your right, i read it over too quickly without enough coffee in me. let the photoshoping (or corel drawing in my case) begin!

renders etc at bungie.net will still be useful to get an idea of what the end result of the photoshopping should look like.

Like these: http://www.bungie.net/Games/Halo/gallery.aspx?gallery=Renders&page=1

Status: Axon Fail - 08:12 PDT - 34.857817 -082.671616
Outcome: Doesn't matter that was failed, coderange is activated anyway
Story: Got up early with only 4 hours of sleep to get ready and head off to the axon. I knew where the axon was and that it worked because I was the one who submitted it and previously tested. I arrived with 20 minutes to spair. at 08:07 PDT I received a call from angelo letting me know the question was "What Colony was I created on?". He told me the first guy didn't know at first, so got it wrong, but after thinking about it figured maybe it was Coral. I was unsure, but figured I'd go with it. Axon rings on the dot at 08:12 PDT, I pick it up, and hear loud static/noise..and while I have the phone off the hook, it is still ringing? I hang it up, and pick it back up, same thing..phone keeps ringing like it doesn't know I have it picked up. Axon Fail

Didn't really matter, was going to say Coral anyway which was wrong.

Not sure why it wouldn't let me answer. I tested this axon just a week from today. My friend called with his cell, and I answered on the payphone just fine..We did have a bad storm today. Dang this "stormy weather" !

I think someone should create a new thread for images submitted by the crew today. Isn't this thread really just intended for What to Do/Say at the Axons?
