I alluded to something like this in an earlier post, but I can't remember which thread it's in. I didn't delve too deeply at the time, simply because not much time had passed since #50's release. OTOH, if Masky/tta wants the tape, I'm inclined to believe it's for his/their own self-interests. Neither has shown much concern for Jay's safety yet. If it is somehow dangerous, it's dangerous to them, just as much as it is to Jay.��

The one time that we saw her, it was a bad shot and it was the angle that most fat chicks use to make them look attractive. And I for one wouldn't want to see Alex (in all of his skinny boney glory) harpooning a whale.

Or maybe Alex wanted Jay to upload whatever is on that tape. He's under The Operator's control so he can't upload it himself, so, as unsubtly as possible, he plants it in Jay's mind that he needs to steal this tape. He purposely let ninja!Jay "sneak" into his house the first time and left the tape lying out. I mean, The Operator hopped in when they started messing with the tape. There might be something on there important to the Operator that he doesn't want destroyed, but on the same note could be used against him.

I TOTALLY got this vibe. I mean I'm not ready to back it up 100% but it definitely crossed my mind that Alex wanted Jay to come back for the tape. I feel like he was trying to spike Jay's interest...but then again if he wanted Jay to find it, why didn't he just let him take it the first time?
