OT-ish, but I find this location fascinating and really awesomely creepy. Does it ever reappear after 13?

Are we disclosing locations now? Because I have found a whole lot of them. I can at least post all the pics I saved.

All I will say is some people want them I guess, there is no @suppose to@ going on, or any kind of requirement or plans. Though this may be taken as being in-game relevant information when it is not. Just to be clear, post them all if you want to, I'm sure some of them will be interesting.

Honestly, the logistics of the whole situation seem extremely jarring to me, and would fit better in a less realistic series. They've been alone in a vast hotel for two months during the peak holiday season, relying on god knows what resources to pay for their rooms, and Jay's only so far from his hometown... something really odd's up with this situation, all I can say.
thats because the real locations are META INFORMATION. You are suppose to NOT know where these places are and are suppose to assume jay right now is no where near where he was. Everything having to do with tracking down real locations for the game is META, in other words, BREAKING IMMERSION.

To be fair, given that Jay named the park he goes to in Entry #31, I think it's only reasonable to try and research the location to work out if there is a real-life park with that name out there which matches what we see in the video. Since a lot of Jay's activities this season seem to be centred around finding the location filmed in "noentry", I don't think it'd be completely out of the question for it to be an ARGish puzzle where we are meant to help Jay figure out where the location is, or find it for ourselves using locational clues in the MH videos to obtain a clue hidden there.

That said: once it turned out that the park doesn't have the same name IRL as it does in the series, that should make it clear that the locations of MH aren't meant to map to RL locations.

Maybe I should clarify, the fact that they're not that far away from Jay's hometown isn't what makes the logistics seem odd, it's the whole "they're alone in a hotel for two months" thing that's really getting to me. The fact that they're only so far away is icing on the cake.
And given he could have easily edited out the clip of the freeway sign and how much emphasis is put on "where am I?" and other questions like that in this season, yes I believe it's in-game and relevant information.

So, bad news about the Queen City Poolhouse from Entry #13, guys.

I remember reading in the past that the city of Tuscaloosa has been planning for years to convert that old poolhouse into a museum (about trains, IIRC). Well, low and behold, Google Earth has updated the satellite image recently.

Bad news... they're already underway with the construction, and pretty far into it by the looks of things. I attached a picture with before/after screens.

This means that we won't ever have another Entry at that site, which (as implied by Troy in an interview) was also the site of the creepy basement seen when Seth was attacked and when Jay was teleporting. Two really creepy locations that (IMO) played a big role in the effect of the series.

Rest in peace, sweet prince... er... Queen. Sad

Ohmygod, I totally knew it was in there. Like, I was telling my friends and they didn't believe me but I KNEW IT.
(Basements don't have two stories.)

Sorry. Majorly off topic, and it's sad to see the site go. I'm just reveling in my mini-victory over here.

J walks to the house but then falls on his knee's and looks in disbelief.

J: No we where so close. Damn you, Damn you all to Hell!

Zoom out to reveal construction on House of Doom.

This is sort of location-related, and I'd rather post in an extant thread with my first post than create a new one, so here goes...

I've been lurking for a while. Just a few minutes ago, I can't remember precisely what led me there, but a chain of spec in recent threads led me back to the thread for Entry 25, the apartment fire video. I read through to the point where the source footage for the daytime report was found, and when I watched it (with 2000+ Youtube views, 10 likes, and a comments section full of MH-related jokes) I noticed that the thumbnail for one of the related videos in the sidebar kind of looked like the night "home video" footage from 25. I checked it, and I'm now 98% positive it's that footage. I didn't think this was much of a "find" at first, figured it was probably really old news, particularly since it showed up as a related video, but the video in question shows only 738 views, it has no comments at all (and not because comments are closed), no likes or dislikes, and, critically, goes completely unmentioned in the original 25 thread.

Now, chances are somebody posted a thread on this between 25 and now, but I can't seem to find one with the search function, so I'm sharing: The source of 25's nighttime footage.

Incidentally, this completely confirms crowd!Operator as being a tree in the original footage, though I'm certain the relative darkness of the figure in Entry 25 and the timing of the video tearing was supposed to give the impression that it was him.

I don't know how wholly unintentional this was, but it's in Ark City.

Ark City.

Not even right.

I found these in the Inquiry thread.

http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=33.268223,-87.527819&spn=0.021673,0.038581&sll=33.139534,-87.55863&sspn=0.312419,0.251999&t=h&z=15

It's Munny Sokol Park, aka Rosswood Park.

This is the location of 39 and part of 27.

Anyone who knows the coordinates to the tunnel, it would be so ridiculously appreciated.

Location: I'm lost, let's ask that bald, tall, faceless guy in a business suit.

Not sure if possible. I guess you would not be able to see it in Google Maps.

Marble Hornets Set Locations

I know theres already a thread sort of like this so please dont flame me for posting a new one, I figured this would be easier than trying to get more people to post in the old one.

So me and my friend decided that for spring break we are going to go to Tuscaloosa Alabama to visit different Marble Hornets filming locations. So we were wondering if anyone knew where a good bit of them are or if people could help us find them. It would be much appreciated!
