 		[SPEC] Another possible connection found
I know that the ARG is fairly far into itself, having cemented its presence as a mass 5GUm campaign, But I just stumbled onto something this evening:

A friend was browsing the Halo Nation Wikia and reading a page about a forum user named AdjutantReflex on the bungie.net forums that began randomly posting back in june of 2007.

After varrying degrees of cryptic communication, and brief period of silence, the account posted another threat with a 'poetic paragraph': http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/AdjutantReflex

"A pulse. Can you feel it?
Beating at the heart of the Universe.
Skin too thick to be sure.
It's alive though.
I'm certain.
What do I do with life?"

Now, one possibility is that being made by 42E, it could be that they're just reuising a phrase but I highly doubt it.

After all AdjutantReflex is believed to be a Monitor, and in the Halo Fandom, Monitors watched and cared for various Forerunner Installations. The most famous monitor of course being 343 Guilty Spark.

Everytime I'm convinced this isnt halo, something like this crops up to make think otherwise.

This is a streth, and as such is pure speculation.

Your thoughts and imput are greatly appreciated.

 		If I recall correctly, The Halo 3 ARG was done in-house by Microsoft and Bungie, and 42E had no hand in it.

 		Yes, every time I think everyone realizes this isn't about Halo some random tangent is brought up by a Halo fan to try to make us ignore the 5Gum painted all over this game.

I don't care if its halo or not. I really don't.

I just want to know the /truth/. Yes, its OBVIOUSLY 5Gum on the surface. Anyone with eyeballs and 10 functioning braincells can see that this is the case.

But when a couple of SDCC Congoers questioned a few Ice-fly reps at the SDCC a few months ago, they managed to squeeze them after chatting casually for about half an hour. They finally admitted that it wasn't 'just gum'.

Heck, maybe they were pulling our chains too, But maybe they weren't. Maybe its halo, maybe they're now.

Hell for all we F*g know, its MY LITTLE PONY FIM. Neutral

Speculation dude. Ditch the aggression and take everything you read with a 10 pound grain of salt.

I apologise if I offended you.

I am only trying to get across that there is no reason to hold out hope for this being something else. It seems to be fairly self evident that the more speculation that this was about something else popped up, the more the 5 Gum logos started popping up everywhere, and they even moved it to the 5 Gum Facebook Page and had 5 Gum sponsored Icefly commercials on MTV. Much as you say to take things with a grain of salt, you would be well advised to take unsubstantiated individual reports with a grain of salt unless there is strong evidence connecting this arg to something else, and not loose parallels.

I do not mean to belittle or show aggression. I just wish to make it clear that this is a tired issue. I respectfully Trout and wish to commend your vigilance, but it should be fairly clear that at it's core this game is for 5 Gum.
