I managed to isolate the voices from the weird noises pretty well.

The vocal track wasn't very good to begin with so this is what I've come up with so far.

Hopefully we can get some good information out of it especially combined with the packet that Korinthian got.

Alright, so Britt and I have been doing some digging, and I've been doing a lot of reading (this packet seriously makes me feel like I'm reading Natalie Portman's account of her time in V's holding cell, in V for Vendetta), and we've been talking back and forth.

We just realized who is in the audio recording. We were trying to catch the girl's name (the doctor's name is Fitzgerald), and I skipped to the end, and I caught a quick "Janie, I love you" right before the audio cut out. It totally didn't click to me, I wasn't really paying attention, so I went back to reading.

Well, good ol' Britt caught it, and as soon as she mentioned it, it hit me too.

Herp derp, Jane is Alec's daughter. We're trying to clean the audio up so we can hear more of it, but it's rough. If anyone has any experience with sound software, Audacity, etc., please give it a go. I have a buddy of mine trying, too, but the more the better.

On my end, the packet doesn't seem to relate much to the current situation at all. It's definitely a backstory to all this, and I won't lie, I find myself anxiously flipping the pages as I get closer to the end. It draws you in. [Deleted], self-titled, has been "dreaming" (or, 'inhabiting') as she calls it, other peoples' memories. So far, she's been in the memories of a man named Frankie, Hunter, an unnamed Vietnam POW, and a girl named Sugar Garcia/Maddie Walker/Maddie Burke.

Interesting note, Maddie Walker/Burke/Sugar Garcia (all one person, Maddie got married) works for the CIA. Pretty sure this is that reference to MKULTRA. There was a scene where she was hypnotized, commanded to shoot a friend of her's that was sitting across the table. In the margin of [Deleted]'s notebook, she wrote "How did you know he was called The MagiCIAn?"

Maddie/Sugar gets a call, and her trigger phrase is "Is that you, Eden?", which sets her off in a crazy sleeper-agent frenzy. It doesn't go into detail about what she does.

[Deleted] is being granted more and more freedoms - shower herself, go outside to smoke, etc. Before, she was stuck in a room, and every night, she'd drink a glass of water they left her, and it would put her to sleep. She writes in a journal she calls Logos. And she dubbed her caretaker's name to be Fill (when she mentioned "I wonder who fills my glass every night?" and then went into tangent about "Fill! His name is Fill.")

There's a lot more to it, but.. like I said, it's a lot to read and take in. I can't wait for some other people to get it.






Also... and this depresses me gravely, but - I am almost 99.9999% sure that Eve Randall is dead. A snippet of her journal entry has her and Fill walking down the hallway, when they come across a suicide in the hall, and Veil suits all over - including personal military security. [Deleted] didn't know who it was - she'd never seen another girl's face, BUT she did talk to Eve through the walls of their holding cells one night. VERY briefly, but she did.

After they witnessed the suicide, Fill claimed "As of now, you're my only ward." Which pretty much leads me to believe that all the other girls from Ward 5 are dead. Including Eve.

As I continue to read, I'll try to update.

Gah! Things are going down right before I'm gonna be away from the internet all weekend! Lots of stuff to process. The recording from the USB is heartbreaking. I'll need to relisten to get all of the info from it.

Anyway, I've made a timeline of known events, not including all of the most recent occurances. The backstory is clearly very important here, so having a timeline might help with keeping track of things. If anyone sees stuff I've missed, feel free to point it out. And feel free to post it to the wiki.

Like s1lver said, we were chit chatting in IRC, along with Brandon Mass's prodding on Facebook, and we started looking at the audio a little bit more closely. Like, super closely. And guess what we found?

- Upon further inspection, the actual coordinates seem to be further into Community Park North. The map shows a trail all throughout it. Probably back there somewhere.

It looks like some kind of walking/biking trail right along the road. Guarantee that's it. Noon, on the 15th. Someone better hop on it quick.

Fantastic work you all!!!! Wow! Wish I was in NJ too. Thanks for all the transcribing and scans! This is really developing.

You know what's a little 'creepy' -- my brother (real life) was in a bad car accident and in a coma for 3 months. He had to relearn everything and to this day has virtually no short term memory. He lives with me, in my care and has since 1987 (time of his crash!).

So you know, I'm really into this. Also we both were military ... and well ...

Anyway, now we just live out in the boonies of NW Central FL.

Interesting though as I was reading the 'story'.

I wish I was closer to Princeton, too. From where I stand, though, it's a 6-hour drive, and I work Friday/Saturday, so it'd be impossible for me to make it there by noon, sadly. Trust me, I'd love to go. I love ARG memorabilia.

(I got my eye on one of those Chip-77 Housings. Fingers crossed!)

I haven't had any other development - I sent Bill those scans, and he just kinda.. zoned out and replied with "I miss her so much. I'm just reading it over, and over, and over again..." so.. I'm not sure how Bill is doing.

I prodded DS3 with a "Janie, is that you?" but, of course, no response, lol.
