Off-Topic, but I was just about to merge all these duplicate threads, but when I hit the button to do it, I discovered that it had already been done... and the fake entry thread was already filed.

Damn that is awesome.

Lots of good pics from this entry.

I still want the Operator to MOVE though.

So Slendy has been with Alex since his (6th) birthday.

And Jay met Alex after he moved to his school, right?

Does that mean that Alex has been doing this for years? In town after town?

How many people has he, possibly, sacrificed to the Operator?

And more importantly--if Alex is lieing in the footage at the end about everyone being "gone", then there's a HUGE possibility that EVERYTHING he said in season 1 was for Jay's benefit.

Fuck on a cracker that's chilling.

If that's the case though, then why is he wasting so much time on just Jay who, according to 22, has already been "taken" in whatever way the Operator does his thing, when he could be off elsewhere redoing his whole "Feed the Beast" scheme? Jay was well and out of the game at the end of 26, until Alex sent him the tape.

I posted about this earlier. We don't know where this fits in relation to #22. If Alex was already scheming, maybe he faked the "gone" monologue, intending to make Jay gone, but he wasn't able to do it.

My problem with the assumption that Alex is lying about all this is that, if he is lying and has been the whole damn time, then we therefore have to assume we don't know shit after 51 entries. However, if we assume that most, if not all, of the Season 1 stock footage is true, we have a solid foundation to work from.

In short: I believe 22, because I think that we're actually piecing this together rather than still flailing around in the dark.

This is all very subjective, but it seems Alex almost wanted Brian posing like that for him specifically because he knew what was coming. The only connection I can really draw here is Slendy from 40. His head was tilted ever so slightly, in a very creepy way. It's a real stretch, but it's all i've got on this.

Great observation, but I assumed that it was just because Marble Hornets was, arguably, an awkwardly filmed movie. All of the shots of actual acting don't seem professional, and the whole "lean your head up against the door even though it's awkward looking" would kind of fit in.

With his head leaned awkwardly into the door, there's pretty much 0 (teehee) chance Brian would spot The Operator approaching from down the hallway behind him.

So if the Operator was controlling Alex all the way back during filming of Marble Hornets then when did it start?

Was it from childhood? Remember the birthday entry.

Maybe that entry, because the consensus seems to be that it was doctored, is to show that Slendy's been with Alex for a while. Maybe not THAT long, but it shows that they're older acquaintances than what's been assumed before.

That's absolutely brilliant.
You just won the internet as far as I'm concerned.

he actually does—it's subtle, but i think his shakiness is distinct from the camera's there at the end

I wonder...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
OOG: Remember the actual location for the Basement of Doom no longer exists. It may be a good working hypothesis that this is their substitute. It has that same "crunchy debris on the floor" sound to it.

Given that, I think the previous visit we saw with Seth to the Basement of Doom might have been the one referred to here, when he suddenly didn't feel so well.

(Sorry if the spoiler tags aren't necessary there, but I don't have a perfect feel for when there called for around here yet.)

This opens up the possibility of more than two masked/hooded figures. There still might only be two -- aside from Tim, Brian is a prime suspect -- but maybe Seth and Sarah as well? Or maybe they all had different fates: if they were all the same, Jay would be one of them too, but instead he's just amnesiac.

Um...Just throwing this out there, but could this encounter have, like, really messed up Tim?

Like, to the point of him becoming deranged and wearing a mask, and terrorizing Jay?

Could we have just seen "Masky Begins"?

Also, I'm pretty sure Alex had the camera at the end. I'm gonna have to go back and see how many entries end with the camera on the ground, Alex picking up the camera, then just slowly and silently walking out of whatever building or forest he was in.

Agreed. As I stated earlier, this blew my mind so much.

No. It's not shitty resolution. I intentionally have my browser window at a certain size because I have widgets I need to monitor on either side of the desktop.

Not everyone browses the web at 1920x1080.

Also, is it just me or do they have a different Slendy or something?

I still believe that Tim and Brian are the only Totheark members, Masky and Hoody. Perhaps they're the "strongest" and the only two to survive, with Seth and Sarah being killed by the Operator.

And Jay somehow escaped.
