Late to the party.
I'll leave the theorizing to those better at it than I.

So happy to see Brian again, even if it is not for long.

Also really happy to see the really bad original Marble Hornets shooting. Brian flicking at the wall is hilarious to me for some reason.

For some reason the Operator's appearances didn't scare me as much as I expected. I think it was the lack of blaring audio distortion and the simple cut to black that did it. It was kinda creepy to have several seconds of silence though.

At the end after Brian's body is dragged out of frame and Alex picks the camera up again to walk outside, the ceiling panel in the hallway outside the room was swinging and there was no Brian. Major Dead Space vibes there.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In before Operator is a Divider

Totheark has video of Jay's missing time where Jay has "Masky" paint on is face

Paint? I just watched Return again it just looks like Jay has dark bags under his eyes, hardly "paint." Even if it was supposed paint or some kind of makeup, it only covers his eyes, not the entire face like a mask would.

Thats some heavy duty bags if it is. I looks like makeup to me because it goes around the eyes. I think the point is to mask Identity. Seeing as Slendy has no eyes I feel like he uses some sort of face recognition through cameras. (Hence why he always shows up during filming but can be seen normally). Normally the entry where Alex first mentions Slendy would contradict this but I'm not sure how much I trust Alex anymore.

Imagine how Jay must have felt after watching this, after stealing it AND finding it only a few days ago.
Damn, Amnesia Jay, we should just call you "AJ" to keep the two of you distinct.

If so, is it possible he got it from Tim/Brian, they escaped, and they became Masky and Hoody to try and get it back? Could he have gotten it from Jay in the events of the filming of Marble Hornets and he was simply put back in his normal life?

And wherever it is, it's in The Ark. An ark is a kind of storage chest, after all. I think the Ark of the Covenant is a more likely reference here than Noah's Ark, and in synagogues the cabinet where they keep the Torah scroll is still called The Ark. So maybe Slendy takes something from his victims, and puts it in The Ark. To The Ark wants it back. They know the sort of thing it must be. Since Jay seems to have gotten in back, in Season 1 they figure he knows WHERE it must be. But he doesn't actually remember.

So, The Operator has been stealing people's mojo...

An ark full of organs? Has Alex had cancer the whole time?

I don't know if this has been thrown into the pot but I think that it was Tim who picked up the camera (after Brian was dragged off.) Just an assumption because the legs looked too short and the steps sounded too heavy to be Alex's.

Great entry blah blah, Im agreeing with everyone saying how Slendy just wasn't as scary in this entry, i did like the scene were he kinda zooms to the camera right before it goes black though, past that just wasn't anything to new to see Slendy off in the background. Past that the entry didn't clear up as much as i was hoping, just raised more questions and added more clues to the puzzle rather then just solving some of it. Despite how badly i want this season to continue im kinda diein for some answers here haha.

But on the positive it was great to see Brian back and that they tied all this in all they way back to the production of Marble Hornets, really made this a memorable entry. one of my favorites of season 2 so far.

Spec: I really feel like if this entry insinuates Brians involvement with the Maskies (implying Brian is Hoody) and Tim/Masky's involvement with TTA (Implying Maskies are TTA) Then im hoping TTA's response to this Entry will in some way involve Brian either in real time or just something to further the speculation or better yet clear up if Brian is in fact alive and if he is Hoody

It seems like there's a pattern between Slenduction and Maskism, since Jay tweeted he thought the masky in the recent TTA video was the guy Alex killed SOMETHING happens when Slendy takes your body. Now, I don't think they become Slendy minions, if they did it would be odd they're trying to kill Alex*, but I think there's some change, internal, physical, mental, whatever between being Slenducted and becoming a Masky. I would like to throw out there that at the very least Jay spent some time as a Masky, possibly during the hiatus when his Twitter was "hacked."

* Unless for whatever reason Slendy wants Alex dead, but can't do it himself for reasons that only make sense to him, so he "contracts out" others to kill Alex.

Eh, Slendy's never really scary unless they go for the jump scare, and jump scares are cheap. The creepy thing about Marble Hornets has always been the mystery, the air of betrayal and misinformation etc, other than that initial shock when you first watch the series, Slendy isn't that scary except when he pops up with LOUD NOISES out of nowhere. Just my opinion, though.

Is this the BFE branch of the Arkham Mental Hospital? BaTim? No? Worth a shot...

Alex is definitely shifty. I bet there was no student movie. I bet it's Slenderporn. Somewhere there's a tape with him ordering a sobbing Jay to take off his shirt. name that movie

The only masky definitively unmasked is Tim, and the only person we've definitively seen Alex bring to the hospital (starring as a school in his bad student film) is Brian, so I think 'sure' is a strong word.

Minor note, but I thought he was referring to the footage of Bruce falling down in the tunnel, with the black and white stuff. He even says how far into the video there is until you see the guy Alex killed.
