You guys mentioned entry 22, and how Alex said that everyone is gone. Well, what I think is: If The Operator can control Alex, why can't he read his thoughts? He had to convince himself, that Jay and other is gone, so that TO, would not follow them. So, he might have said what he said, just to make TO distracted from his friends, and he has to act like that because if he won't TO would understand, that he is helping them.

Unfiction: No no guys, obviously Brian is still alive. If he were dead, it would mean my pet theory is wrong!

The truth! Oh how it hurts my eyes!

Brian is and has been dead for a long time guys, we will just have to try and live with that, I suggest walking on a train track reflectively.

Also, wasn't the boiler room the cellar under Brian's house?

Beautiful entry btw! I love how all the walls of the doctor's office seem to have things written on them that could mean something. I have been staring at out-of focus quick panning shots for half an hour now trying to make out what's written Razz (probably just is some old graffiti though)

Check for "BONE".

Nope. People don't generally have industrial boiler rooms beneath their homes. Also, cellars are generally reachable through a cellar door and don't require chasing masked men through halls, bathrooms and closets first.

I'm probably reading too much into this, but whatever...

I don't like how obviously a tape with such incriminating evidence was "hidden". I mean, sure, we can joke about it being the unfinished Marble Pornets sex tape or Masky on a tricycle, but something that shows Alex actively luring Brian to The Slender One just sitting in his desk? Okay, maybe he wasn't really expecting Jay's sub-par sneaking skills to successfully get him back into the apartment, but hear me out.

This whole project came about because Jay wanted answers to everything. Where did Alex go, why did he quit filming, who's that creepy dude in the suit, what's that guy in the mask having a seizure for, etc., etc. And when Alex says things like, "I think it's best you don't know where I live right now", Jay is clearly upset with that, and he only gets more agitated as he decides he's not getting enough answers, ultimately pushing him to break into Alex's place the first time and stalk him for a few months. I should think that this is a little obvious to Alex, especially with the way he sees Jay reacting to his secrecy with things like not saying where he lived and stuff. So why would he go out of his way to make that tape seem so important to him? He went out of his way to say things like, "You don't even know what's on this tape" and he seemed incredibly angry that it was gone. He could've avoided suspicion by saying it was some old family footage or something that Jay wouldn't be interested in, but he continued being vague instead, despite seeing his lack of answers landed him here in the first place.

So what I'm saying is, if he knew Jay stole it once and was reluctant to part with it a second time, making it seem so important that Jay not see the tape, why would he just leave it in his desk? Alex successfully disappeared for the three year gap between quitting the film and sending the "HELP ME" tape. (And I only say he sent it based on his saying things like "You weren't really difficult to track down" and Jay's speculation about Alex sending the tape). So if he was successfully hidden from (presumably) Slendy, Masky, (possibly Hoody) and Jay for three years, why would he be so bad at hiding a tape that shows
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
him luring Brian (and possibly the rest of the MH cast/crew) to The Slender One?
Maybe the tape placement was an OOG oversight or something, but it doesn't make much sense to me for him to find it so easily. :/

In the spirit of overthinking things, another couple of likely irrelevant observations: Brian doesn't seem to be wearing his jacket anymore in the last shot of him being dragged off. Also, what happened to the tripod? The camera was clearly on one in the shots of Brian leaning against the door, but after the blackout, it's on the ground and you don't see the tripod anywhere nearby as Brian picks up the camera.

Oh wow, I'm 25 pages late this time. Go figure. The entry was awesome, though. Now we know why the Masks want to kill Alex.

The boiler room/basement was actually the inside of the abandoned poolhouse from Entry #13.

And then there's Jay waking up to find his hotel door wide open. He says nothing was missing, but what if something was swapped out?

Sure, it's probably just a quick excuse for the delay in releases, but what if Alex DID have more common sense than to leave an incriminating tape lying around, and someone figured Jay needed juicier viewing material than one of Alex's Joy of Drawing home videos?

As much as I like the theory of having the tape switched between entries, I think it's simply to show that Jay is being stalked again by TTA, and that we're probably coming up to the end of the seven-month gap and we'll soon get an entry that shows what's been happening with Jay in real time.

TTA did say he was coming for Jay after all.

Ever since Hoody returned Jay's camera, I placed my bets on it being Brian. ALL HAIL THE SECOND COMING OF THE PROPHET BRIAN.

Naysayers, remember that Alex says *everyone* is gone. Brian, Tim, Seth, etc. Well, we've known for awhile that Tim and Jay are certainly not *gone* as Alex says they are. So why should we believe that Brian is gone, despite seeing him get dragged away?

Totally on the Tim and Brian = TTA boat. Have been for a bit now. My assumption is that Alex will attempt to do what we've just seen (in 51) to Jay and Jessica this time, though he's somehow thwarted, probably by Masky and Hoody (and Woodsy, if they are indeed different people).

The link I can't really understand is why Jay and Jessica wake up with lost memory in a hotel with no other guests but themselves.

What does Brian say at 3:32ish, at the end of the hallway?

Worth noting that #51's shot in the fall; scenery's still green, but they're in warmer clothes, and you can see Brian's breath when he's on the railroad tracks (unless he smokes).

It's also worth noting that smoking does not turn your breath into smoke forever.

Actually, what I said doesn't make any sense, so that makes two of us.

Why is Tim there, curled in a blanket, hacking up a lung? Shouldn't they have heard him earlier?

Slendy appeared and pulled them into his parallel dimension where Tim had already been taken. Maybe Seth and the rest of the gang of meddling kids is there too, we just didn't see them? Alex was far too calm and knew how the whole game was gonna go, so he wasn't too concerned.

I'll trail this into my prediction for the season two finale: Jay has more of his famous bright ideas and decides to go looking for this location in the present day. While being the pro-ninja that he is, he encounters a wild Slenderman, who captures him just before one of the TTA members shows up to try and stop him. They submit the video for us, and we go on hiatus until TTA and Sons gets him back and continues with season three.

Or he does that in the past with Jessica, leading to their mind-wipe. TTA gets them back and recovers the camera, leaving the tapes in Jay's safe when they get to the hotel.

Boom! Full circle.

Not sure if anyone's said this yet, but there's no conclusive evidence on whether or not Brian is alive or dead. He got dragged away? Okay, since when can you only drag a person if he or she is dead?

We just don't know. People have gone unconscious in MH before.

Well, technically Brian breaths if you watch his belly, but I'm not sure if that's a mistake or not. Usually a body being dragged when we only see feet implies death.
