I'm only seeing the default twitter background with no profile loading...anyone else or am I having issues?

This thread just seems to naturally spawn memes for this forum. Probably because they're related to the content that's supposed to be discussed here.

It's neither good nor bad. Yes, it can get annoying and I've considered splitting the off-topic posts from here to the off-topic thread, but in the end, I feel that would make both this thread and that one seem disjointed.

As someone who regularly trawls old threads--I went through 30+ pages of this one last night, back around page 45--I can say yeah, the totally OT discussions are frustrating, and stay frustrating. I see Zarggg's points about editing after the fact, but please, can we utilize the OT, rage, or the new waiting room threads in the future? Keeping things neat is a courtesy toward everyone on the forums now and toward anyone catching up down the road. We can encourage Boots to research their questions before asking, but if we bury the info they want in pages and pages of chatter, most are going to say screw it and post new topics or ask the same questions we've all seen a hundred times. And that just annoys everyone.
