To be fair, their "professional production team" is probably mostly made up of people who do networking/advertising. Her channel averages 18,000 views per video (though it's probably more like 6,000 views plus spikes in the 150,000s). That tells me they're really good at getting an audience, so that's most likely where all their effort is expended.

I wouldn't be surprised if the actual film crew is made up of one cameraman who's also the director, a guy who knows lights, an editor, and the producer who ends up playing the role of location scout, talent wrangler, production assistant, and make up artist. In fact, I bet most of them also end up in front of the camera from time to time.

The point is, don't get too cynical. There are long leagues between being merely professional and being a cold hollywood studio.

Found this by googling.
I was watching the first arc to this series, and I had my doubts that one little girl could do all of this... so of course, I goggled and eventually found out that there is actually a whole production team behind all of these videos. They are all paid actors. Not to mention, they actually have professional equipment and editing tools, and have access to make realistic costumes, and that's the best they can do? They can't even touch these other vlogs, who actually have limited budgets.

I have to agree with these statements. I remember, when I was watching this video, thinking "The camera quality by itself tells me that this is some professional work." But, in the end, I wasn't affected by this video and I think I know why: while it follows the usual tropes for a Slendy vlog, it doesn't follow the spirit. I don't know if she was building up a storyline for a S-Man appearance or if it's just randomly uploaded, but it's obvious that the folks behind this video thought, "We heard this 'slendarmanz' is pretty popular on the internet, so let's make a video with him in it!"

It just lacks the buildup necessary for a slenderman encounter to work. It's obvious that the crew at least made some effort to make a quality slendervid, as evidenced by the quality acting, camera work, and even costume is higher scale than most slendervlogs (though the distinct lack of the unnatural height really kills it for me.) Even the distortion at the end shows they at least know something about the mythos and tried to cater to it. But I feel that the crew didn't put enough effort into making the S-Man more creepy. I think the biggest problem I have is that we see just too much of him too easily. In other vlogs, it can almost become a "Where's Waldo"-esque search and other times we only see him in bits and pieces between distortions. The rest of the video in the other vlogs use the spare time to build atmosphere and unsettle us before letting the monster loose. This video just sits him under a streetlamp and hopes that he's scary, and that's a horror recipe destined to end in failure.

tl;dr This movie isn't scary because there wasn't enough focus on the atmosphere. It's an honest attempt that deserves praise in other areas, but not for being scary.

So, returning to my original point, "dildos therefore, no"

Sooo...
I watched the primary video on her channel that explains how to view it, it seems there are multiple playlists to go through that cover different things, almost like a paranormal variety show. (if anyone less lazy than I checks thus out, hopefully you could confirm/deny) I suspect slenderman popped in in an almost x-files episode way, but is not the basis of a whole storyline?

Also, in her trailer there seem to be a bunch of occultists with BAGS on their heads, including a shot of someone removing a bag-head.

I won't be watching this, but if anyone else decides to, be sure to correct all this lazy half-fact finding

Your kind of right, there are three different arc's to her show. First one is her trying to find out what was haunting her house (thus the guy with the bag over their head - not actually Slenderman, but probably just an ode to him). The Second arc (which also ties in with their roadtrip playlist) is about these hauntings coming back. Third one is weird, like really weird, so the only thing that I am going to say is that it doesn't involve Slendy or anything that has happened in the first two arcs. Then of course there is her last playlist, the "lost footage" where this Slenderman footage goes. These are supposedly just tapes that her fans sent her that she decided to post. I can't exactly tell if these are actually tapes that her fans sent, or if the production company was behind them as well as their quality closely resembles the type of editing and footage that's shown throughout the channel.
