I just got home this morning. It's a long 13 hour trip from Cambridge and I'm in desperate need of a good night's sleep.
Okay, where is 13 hours driving distance from Cambridge?

grave marker and its translation, but he didn't offer anything new in the way of information. He did, however, give me a photocopy of the rubbing.
Has anyone sent any new information to John about the gravestone (or our spec?)

Many times Charles stopped, as if listening for something, I never heard a thing other than the occasional sound of distantly dripping water.
Was Charles listening for signs of Old Todd, or was the 40 Hz sound affecting him (but apparently it doesn't seem to register with John). Is the ability (and affect) of the 40 Hz dependent upon the receptivity of the person? Is there something genetic about being able to hear it (or being immune to it)?

At this point Charles seemed extremely agitated and stated that it was probably the hiding place of a hermit who lives on the Cambridge campus.
Keeping the knowledge of Old Todd away from John. Is he afraid that Old Todd is a murderer?

It seemed the farther into the system we went, the more disturbed and agitated Charles became, until at last he said we had to leave.
Again, is the sound affecting him?

The photos I took within the chamber beneath the hospital have been attached to the site. The last two, in particular, have strengthened my resolve to return.
Hint to focus on the last two pictures? What about the postcards with "I AM INVISIBLE" on one of them? My resolution on the computer at work is lousy. The red version on the right looks like "June 7, 01 Off to Villisca" but the actual date numbers are hard to determine (and the Villisca murder was 1912).

John must know about Old Todd and Charles can't be purposely hiding him, given John made contact with Charles through the internet and it's all there on the website.
What I find striking about this update is how John's obviously missed all this stuff that's on a website that's he's in game as having seen. He'd starting to come across as focused to the point that he's starting to miss things on the periphery.

I found a similar postcard for one of the asylums, it is located in Hastings, Nebraska. It isn't the same postcard, but it is the same asylum.

Kona, I think the year is '09. On the other card above I am invisible it says Pembroke Mass. Also, some of the writing seems to appear only in the red filtered picture.

I know this isnt much help, but I live in philadelphia. A few months back I drove to MN, not too far from cambridge, and it took about 22 hours. Minus 13 leaves 9, and 9 hours in I was probably 1/2 way through indiana. Take a compass from cambridge to mid indiana, and you have a really, really rough radius of how far this guy was.
BTW, my times are an estimate, but again, this is the best I could do, hope that helps.

Anyone else notice they symbol on the right of the date text, there is a tiny, hand written symbol. Anyone recognize this?
Is this the symbol for cookie monster?
Also, around the area of this symbol is some barely visable text. Im thinking the red-ed version is a clue as to how to reveal this text on the first image. Im going to take a stab at it.....

In that red filtered picture, does it say "Jaimie" on the card?

I'm pretty sure that is "June" (but I was worried about it being Jaimie at first).

Is quoting yourself the same as talking to yourself??
I looked iver this pic again, and theres text there for sure. In the lower let area is a barely visable seventh son symbol.
The red version of the postcards has to be a clue to reveal the rest of the text on the whole image. Ive taken a stab at it, looking at the red channel only, ect, with little succes. Would someone with high graphic editing skills take a stab at this?
