 		I've received Theresa's email as well, and am having a conversation with her. She's saying pretty much the same stuff that's already been posted here, but I'll update this post if that changes.

Isn't it odd that Theresa would email everybody on the Project Mnemosyne applicant list from an alternate email address like this? I'm very skeptical of the motives behind this mass email.

 		Her response to Illuminati seems pretty telling.

Granted, it could be the PM just trying to get people involved. That's somewhat meta but it would make sense.But if Theresa is a spy then bringing someone else into our loop wouldn't be in hsr best interests...

Granted, I am hardly guarenteed to be right, but still...

That's everything I know about it. I've known it since I started working here.

There's one more thing though, that I told one of the other applicants. Veil was gone from the company for a few years. I was hired about a week prior to him coming back from that time away. Everything I had heard, even the company mission statement at the time involved Alec, Hope, and Donald. but when Alec came back, things were different between them. I had never seen them together, but based on everything I had heard, everyting I had THOUGHT it would be, it was nothing like that.

i want to still play it off like i'm in the dark a bit but i am looking for some advice as i'm new to this type of game.

i'm thinking about approaching it as if i am aware of the emails, blog, packet, etc. but that i assumed it was a disgruntled employee trying to smear the company's good name and see what she says about it. i figure it is worth a shot since it is a different approach from others. i'll let you know how she responds but if anybody would like to help me with this approach i am open to suggestions.


I think a different approach is a great idea. I think being clueless and concerned is a good tactic. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

EDIT: to avoid double posting. I just sent dataserver3 an email about Theresa. I figure whoever is behind the emails should know that there is another at Veil on our side, or maybe if Theresa is on the up and up.

 		I sent her a copy of one of the Access code papers that I got in my packet from IRIS. Asked her what they could mean. Here is her response:


Theresa:
Wow. Where the hell did you get this?

Okay...I've seen this before, but not THIS. Not the whole thing. We get a piece of that. Let's me get to my floor, to my section of the office. My office door doesn't lock, but the section of my floor does. Even the elevator has a code. Only to go up, though. Going down doesn't require a code, unless you're going into the basement. And...three basement levels. Wow. I've worked here by six years, and I've been told that there's only two levels. There's only two basement buttons on the elevator.

You're the third person to mention another basement level.

Anyway, yes, these codes are security access codes. They change every day. I've never seen all of codes together like this. Only the security office would have this.

 		The plot thickens yet again. The Bay area recovery center does look legit and OOG. I tried Veil's number from the accident report a few days ago, but freaked out and hung up when a woman answered. (I'm kind of terrified of talking to strangers on the phone, and was expecting a voicemail or something.) Haven't tried again.

I got the email from Theresa as well. I've been mostly not interacting with IG characters, but I might reply sometime today or tomorrow. I was thinking of asking if there were any mysterious hires or funds being shifted around during 2007-8, when the Ward Five stuff was happening. (Without mentioning it directly, although if she's seen Bill's blog, then she's seen the DS3 emails.) Maybe she can shed some light on who Fill could be.

Think we could get her to sneak to subbasement 3? It might be worthwhile, but we might end up with another missing Veil employee. But some pictures/info about what's down there now would be interesting at the very least.

 		different approach may have been wrong approach
just to update you on my tactic of taking a different approach introduced in my earlier post, it seems to have been the wrong one to take and not what she was looking for. instead of playing completely clueless i did tweak it a little and sent her this:

but her responses have ceased for the moment (probably shouldn't have used the word "real" even though i didn't mean it as it sounds). if i do get a response using this tactic i'll definitely post it.

 		Pssh... I've just been emailing questions and getting answers back in return. Now it feels like I'm taking wild shots in the dark. Trying not to ask about anything we already know....

Oh, such bad timing for me... got a hurt dog and the usual OMG mountain of studying/homework to do.

 		Did anyone get mail?
Sorry I've had a lot going on at home and not been on for a long time!! but I got a large envelope today from IRIS with 4 pieces of a "basement sublevel 3 floor plan" blue print. I also got 4 pages of "security access codes". Has anyone else received this?
