From my interactions with Forest he never seemed to be much of a 'handler', let alone heavily involved in Intueor. At this point I think the White Rabbit handler is probably someone else.

Well.... I took the surname from the Intueor document Vlad sent me, the one I posted which is similar to the others but shows a little more info so It's a pretty big coincidence if he's not Wink

I never played the previous games, and we've been told that doesn't matter, so it could be we see similar characters in different roles?

Quote:
"who am I?"
Pathetic...

Who are you to ask?

Call me by my proper title and I will respond - until then...

Well, I agree with veebee. My brain is fried from work today, so I'll start cracking at it tomorrow. For assistance purposes, here's the image flipped.

I'll be working on this a little tonight. Just in case it's important the background is the entrance gate of the British Library and its shadow on the adjacent wall.

ALL PROCESSES PAUSED

So the clues lead us to believe we are looking for
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The title of a book?

Veebee -> How did you come to the book title? I missed it.

I've put the text into letter-by-letter format to help play with... The file is attached.

Considering the *'s came back from the initial binary email, as the solution to the magic square in this last puzzle, it might be possible there is another connection with them in this one? What do ya think?

In a previous chat; VS3.1 said:
Quote:

vs3.1: You do understand our * as well though yes?
kianebull: I'm good with rocks and minerals, *'s are a bit beyond me
vs3.1: For * try UUU then
vs3.1: * was referred to in our first communique - in binary -

Changing the *'s to UUU's kind of fits with the lettering scheme...
....annnd still leaves me no further ahead.

Welp, looks like we've got a puzzle to solve! I'll look it over today, after work.

British Library background plus

Plus the previous solve is very relevant to Nabokov as it was the name of one of his novels.

And I don't know why, but the code just looks like an excerpt from a book to me Confused

It didn't look like a destegging puzzle, but I went ahead and ran it just to be safe. It's not a destegging puzzle, I don't think. Although, I'm not the best in the world at destegging, either.

I opened it in WordPad and looked for any PGP code, haven't found anything so far but I also haven't had time to scan too closely. I'll go back to this if we hit a wall, this looks more straightforward than that.

EDIT: "Call" me by my proper title... In libraries (i.e. the British Library), books have 'call' numbers. Relevant, perhaps?

Do you mean the Dewey Decimal system?

I was kind of thinking that too... Was googling earlier and saw a link about a British Library coding system for internal and inter-library transfers and loans...

I dunno guys, it looks like a simple substitution cipher to me, only it's not simple because of all the missing letters. Impossible to frequency test as it is Sad
APG appears either twice or three times, you would hope that's THE but it doesn't seem to be so..

I can't find a ROT that works, even if you reverse the string, so for now I'm stumped.
