Seriously, things are heating up here. I agree, we need to get in the IG chat and see what comes of this. Though, I suspect she is about to be the next one to vanish...

 		I'm pretty stumped about what these latest images are supposed to convey, if anything at all. Maybe Cory's location? Two of them are labeled 'Veil', and the other two are labeled "Acephali," which was the name of a government agent we saw in a file from DS3, right? Did we ever figure out who this guy is, and why his name keeps coming up? I would say that maybe we could ask Joseph, but it sounds like he's pretty intent on clamming up. Maybe someone who has been keeping up with Alice or T could bring the name up and see what we get?

Also, what time zone is Theresa in? I'd like to pop into the chat if I can make it this time, if possible. Kor, you were referencing an IRC channel, right?

Cassandra had one of those journals - obviously, the copy in my drawer is proof of that. But.. 500? 500 test subjects? That'd be ridiculous.

 		Argal: I'm assuming that this will be a chat over IRC. If you don't already have a client, such as mIRC, you can use the web client provided by uF here. It requires Java, so make sure that you've got that installed and updated.

Change the nickname to whatever you want to go by, and the channel to "#IGCWC" (without the quotes,) or whatever channel we agree upon before the chat begins, and click connect.

I don't use IRC very often, so beyond that, I won't be very helpful.

slide: Welcome, and we're glad to have you! As I'm sure you've read, there's an in-game chat session with Theresa scheduled for Tuesday evening at 6 her time, which I assume is Eastern Time. If you're around at that time, feel free to jump in!

ETA: Joseph Silva just added me on Facebook, and claimed that I worked with him at CBALTech. I added him, so we'll see how this goes.

Are you sure its Eastern Time? Isnt Theresa at the Veil Nanoscience building with the address listed in San Francisco? That would be 6pm Pacific time.....

Acephali wasnt the name of a person, its the name of a task force team who are part of the 461st PsyOps Company as we learned from image 31.011100110.

In image 33.0100 we learn that Acephali were given a new assignment starting on Oct 15, 2007 under defense contractor Veil Nanoscience who would provide a "device" for use in pyschological ops. Item 4 on that document talks about reporting to someone unknown person for training.

The two newest images 30.111001 and 32.11 I am thinking could possibly be either training site locations, or a test mission, or a past mission site in Iran/Iraq that Acephali was involved in. Thats just a guess but either way its obvious from the file tag that those site locations are tied in with Acephali[/url]

 		Solution to the file names
Sorry for the spam of posts from me today but I think I just figured out what the file names for all of the DS3 images are supposed to mean so I had to post my findings with explanations Razz

I apologize ahead for the huge wall of text

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

In short I think that they add up to end up meaning "catalogue of my sins" with no spaces using binary->ascii.

Heres how I reached that conclusion:

I put down all the trailing 1s and 0s and strung them all together and then tried converting them to text, since we dont have the whole string putting them together doesnt get much, so I broke up the biggest sections of file names that we had and tried converting just those.

Using the binary from images 1 thru 17 = 01100011011000010111010001100
when run thru the decoder found here it translates to cat

The next couple images are all broken up after a couple due to the remaining images we need( 18,21,25,28 )
So I went on to the string for 29 thru 34 which is=
11010111100101110011011010010110111001110011

Using the same decoder that translates to just gibberish so I tried breaking up that segment into 8bits each and had 4 extra characters so i tried removing it from the end but that didnt make sense so i removed the first 4 characters and entered 0111100101110011011010010110111001110011 and it gave me ysins

When I saw the word sins I remembered one of the DS3 Frankenstein quotes that was sent to use had the word "sins" in it so I went back and looked and saw that phrase "catalogue of my sins".

So i entered "catalogue of my sins" and converted it to Binary and it came out to be 160 characters of binary, so far we only have 110 characters.
So I remembered that the translation didnt have a space between y and sins so i deleted the spaces and it came out to 136 characters of binary:

0110001101100001011101000110000101101100011011110110011101110101011001010110111101100110011011010111100101110011011010010110111001110011

So that means if my theory is correct in the next 4 images the trailing 1s and 0s should add up to be 26 characters and the last 4 characters on image 28's file name will end with 1101

Im working on a way to try and figure out/predict what the next file names will be using what we have so far and what I think we will end up with but its kinda hard staring at 1s and 0s to find where the differences start and stop. If anyone knows more about binary and wants to help out feel free to join in. Heres a break down to help you out:

29 characters starting from images 1-17
01100011011000010111010001100

19-20 5chars
01101

22-24 17chars
01101111011001110

26-27 15 chars
101100101011011

29-34 44 chars
11010111100101110011011010010110111001110011

Total 110 chars


In closing I think that all the info we have received from DS3 would definitely be something of a "catalogue of sins". But the question still remains who exactly is behind the DS3 emails that wants this "catalogue of sins" to finally get out?
