 		So... That's it? It ended?
Is season 2 over? Ending the season with the answer to Brian's fate is reasonable yeah but we got no conclusion from Jay, not even a tweet.
Or even weirder, no response from TTA especially because we now know that the Masks are TTA.

Is this how it ends?

This actually poses more questions. I like the theory that Alex was leading people to feed Slendy, but if this is from when he was filming MH then why was he acting so paranoid towards the end of it / why do none of the earlier tapes from Season 1 indicate that they're in cahoots?

 		Hell no, this can't be the end of season 2. We still need the answers to what Entry #29 was about. It obviously wasn't from the same time period as #49. And we also need some type of a present time update from Jay. I guess.

The first was 26, right? Following the standard 'shit comes in 13 or 26 episodes a season' mindframe, I'd say 52 would be the end of the season. It's my guess they'll throw in one of Jay snooping around the burnt out area or something, Slendy showing up causing a camera malfunction, Jay saying he's going to investigate new leads/the videos further, and BOOM, end of season 2.

since you seem to look at Troy's OOG blog/Facebook already, did you happen to check and see that he said just last week that the next entry would come after GMX, which was just this past weekend? It'll probably come sometime this week, they've already filmed all or most of it before they went to GMX.

I don't read his blog, so I wouldn't know. While I *know* MH isn't real, there's a level of immersion there that comes from not actively noting that it's fake. Reading his blog would kill 99.9% of that immersion, which would dumb the series down in terms of entertainment value, for me any way.

 		Try to keep imagining Jay staying on the run or being holed up in a hotel room or trying to figure out if anyone knows where Brian is. He's always been kind of reticent about too much tweeting, which I can sympathize with due to the history of being hacked/followed.

Troy has a job, college classes, and he/Joseph/Tim spent all last weekend at a con where they had standing-room-only crowds at their panels. Plus Troy tweeted only 7 days ago about doing more filming.

Actually, he posted that a week or two ago after saying they had filmed 52, so obviously it's not over yet.

That's pretty impressive that you've maintained it this far. Most of the immersion around here ended a while ago.

When Troy tweeted about starting to film 52, he mentioned that they were so close to the end [of season two] that he could taste it. What I take that to mean is that while 52 itself might not be the end of season two, we're really close to it.

Besides, around what, Entry 47 or so, he mentioned, on his blog, that the number of remaining entries was a single digit number, which puts us, at most, at Entry 55 or 56 being the end of season two. (Most people are speculating that 52 or 53 will end the season.

That's fine - I wasn't specifically saying you had to read it (hence the spoiler tags) but since others had mentioned things posted OOG on Troy's twitter/FB and blog, I figured I'd follow up on that by pointing them back to what they were referencing.

Kudos on resisting the temptation to read the blog and other OOG stuff. Honestly, it's all personal preference, which I'm glad you note ('for me anyway') (because otherwise people'd take it for condescension, and you'd get flame war'd to the end of tomorrow Razz). I've been able to maintain immersion enough, mostly because I recognize the amount of work these guys put in to give us what we get, and how difficult it is to please everybody, so the OOG stuff actually helps me in that sense.
