[TRAILHEAD] home:a ghost story

Now today I was looking at arg net and noticed a post about home a ghost story. The link to it http://www.argn.com/2011/10/fourth_wall_studios_showcases_revamped_rides_platform_with_spooky_short_story_home/ it says it's being made by forth wall studios using rides tech. Anyway about home it's about a dead mom triyng to make one of two of her daughters crazy and kill the other one.
Herse a link to the games website.http://www.homeaghoststory.com/ it recently started.

Wow! That really takes the whole "TINAG" aspect of "ARG's" and throws it right out the window. Wonder how they will explain this one away in the game.

Experience ruined.

EDIT: I get it now. Still don't see the point of it though. Btw, didn't get any credit for listening to the phone call in chapter 4. Odd though, it credited me in chapter 5 before I even watched chapter 5. I call "bug".

Yea.... I haven't played many ARGs, but this one is... not an ARG. It's transmedia, but it doesn't... it doesn't feel immersive. The plot seems good, which is a waste. It should be in the hands of an actual Puppet master. It seems forced.

Yeah, there's just something about human interaction that goes a long way in an "ARG".

It was a good 'short' though. I thought the subject was rather unique. I have gotten the creeps watching RL shows on 'hording' and this just pushed it right in there. It would have been nice if it was a full on ARG. Was more the Majestic kind of thing. But a good story anyway.

But at the end of the day... what was the point? All that work for 20 minutes of what exactly? Just showing off the 'wares? If this is where "ARG's" are going, count me out.

Really really enjoyable! I can't wait for Fourth Wall's next offerings! That Augmented Reality one, "Cathedral" looks really great too! Keep up the great work!
