I miss their Sims Sad I hope their LP continues at some point.

Does anyone else get a cult vibe from the large group of people in the last couple videos?

What...

So I'm actually really enjoying the direction they went. Is there a blog that goes with this? Also, and I may be looking too much in to this, but since they made a thread in Within Hubris, would this tie in with the Haunted Majora's Mask Cartridge ARG? I know they shut that down like... a year ago, I think. It's been a while since I followed it, but I was always under the impression they wanted to reinvent it after a while. Or would they have just made the thread there since they hold some similarities?

Hey, rand__althor, where did you get that "328" thing? Was that in the videos somewhere?

The BEN ARG is on hiatus, but the Author says he intends to pick it up at some point. This was posted in the Fan Creation subforum, and has nothing to do with the BEN ARG.

Might have been mentioned on the thread over on WithinHubris forums. I skimmed thruogh that thread the other day.

Thread is here. (WARNING: Small, white text on black background, which hurts my eyes to read)

Actually, scratch that, the number comes from the description for this video, where FelixNeptune says he had 328 new messages, but nothing was in the inbox.

Ahh, thanks (: that's a little interesting. But wouldn't the recent video make it 328 videos? Guess there is something there only the trained eye can see, cause I couldn't see anything.

I finally sat down to take the time to watch it, and I liked it so much that I decided to revoke my lurker status (I've been following unfiction for over a year, but never signed up) so that I could comment on it.

While I like the series as a whole, some of the videos tend to be waaaaay too long, particularly the eight minute long Entry #19. After the first few minutes it's safe to say everyone got that shit was going down, and fast. It didn't need to take that long.

However, besides that, I have to say that this is one of the first series in a while to really make me feel paranoid. I think it's the sound distortions that they use. They're not ear-rapey, which I appreciate, but are just subtle enough to make you start feeling uncomfortable without fully knowing what's going on. That combined with how weird the glitches are makes this, in my mind, a pretty quality Slender series that has the added bonus of being pretty dang original. Normally I don't have much patience for vlogs (besides MH and MLA) and prefer text blogs, but this one struck me. I'm excited about the change in direction of the video style and hope that it is going to start moving away from the Sims and into real life. The quality and originality of the videos are striking.

Yeah, I agree that some of the earlier entries were a tad long, especially since not much happened to necessitate a longer video.

One thing I've been thinking about with this, especially since a main thread of discussion is on the WithinHubris forums.

The premise for this is that the guy gets a used copy of a video game and starts playing it. Turns out there's some sort of paranormal creature inhabiting it (in this case, Slendy). Then the game starts screwing up, and the players become affected by the game. Then the presence inside the game starts creeping out into the "real" world.

What I'm getting at is that they've taken the concept from the original BEN Drowned (or whatever you call it) story, and made it their own, especially by replacing BEN with Slendy. I like the direction that they're going with this and, unlike Jadusable, it looks like they'll be finishing the story (at least, I hope they will be).

This has to be the most incredible slenderman vlog I've ever seen! Holy Cow, 2 elements that I love: slenderman and the sims. I just started watching this tonight out of curiousity and wow. Sims meet Slenderman, that is awesome as hell!

My only complaint is that its Sims2 and not Sims3, Sims3 is way better. To me at least.
