another, *sigh* person new to args, but have no fear about this one, i already got caught up thanks to the wonderful primer at http://www.tranzed.net/project_syzygy/index.htm . So i shall be here to help if i can as the game gets started, but i'm not sure how much i'll be able to participate due to lack of arg knowledge and school.

Yeah, another one new to the genre. I watched some people play The Beast (the original?) but it was in too far before I was really aware of it. Hoping to get in on one of the first 5 floors here.

Like others, I'm an ILB convert as well.
The ARG genre has pulled me in, and I can't escape. Hell, I'm the only one (that I know of) representing Omaha, Nebraska, so doing this is my duty as a gamer.

I'm also new. Not an ILB person...just interested in all of this craziness. Can't wait to jump in on this.

Totally gobsmacked - never heard of ARGs until (and I thought I was being really clever) I worked out the firebox.com link and eventually ended up here. I can't believe this whole genre has passed me by.
Looking forward to lurking and, you never know, contributing.

Another noob here, I check www.ignxbox.com religiously, and i read an article about ILB yesterday. I spent the rest of the day on unfiction, trying to find another ARG i could join that isnt half-way finished. Unfiction led me to PS, and im already in love with the pre-game. Im going to have to buff up on coding and cryptography, so i can join you guys in this great genre that has slipped through my fingers for so long.

Having already jumped in (in the wrong direction, probably) I thought I'd introduce myself too. I'm new-ish to ARGs as well, but I followed the Beast from a week or two after it got started up until it ended. Being buried in my thesis at the time, I wasn't able to really help, but I sure enjoyed the story. (And I recommend Sean Stewart's work to anyone who's interested in a thought provoking read.)
I'm having a lot of fun so far, though. Happy hunting!

As everyone is saying hello, then this seems as good a place as any.
Myself (new to ARGs) and a friend or two who have been looking for one that is not half finished are really looking forward to PC. We hope to complete most on our own, but I can't imagine we won't need to look for some help at some point along the way. As much as we'd like to think that we might be the first to solve one of the clues and hence be able to contribute to the community solving, we're guessing that it's fairly unlikely .

I'm Fi. I first found UF through Syzygy (and vice versa). I was looking through Marketing Week one day when I saw this decrypted advert. Being naturally curious (though some may use a stronger word than that , I decrypted it, Googled, then got totally and utterly sucked in.
I've also decided to re-name this thread 'Introductions', instead of 'New Blood', so anybody can post if they want.

I'm Doof, i got attracted here via a ILB post on Slashdot. Hit on ILB when it started but never took interested, and when i looked back it was too far in to catch up, spotted Syzygy and camped here ever since....
Atm im running a Syzygy Wiki for the peeps, and also blogging for my own personal records
You can find me camped on IRC until i get a job.
