I haven't seen any of the other Slenderseries yet, as I'm saving them up to watch once MH goes on hiatus.

However, a while ago I started watching the Louise Paxton vlogs. They're actually from 2007 (yes, before the emergence of His Slenderness himself) but the entries are nearly as creepy as MH in places, and from what I've seen so far, her unseen stalker has some eerie similarities to our friend Mr. Slend. It's actually kind of weird.

I haven't watched them all yet, but they're pretty good so far. The girl who plays Louise is a good actress.

 		A lot of... "grassroots" horrors tend to hinge on a lot of common fears and ideas, as demonstrated by the original accounts of Dracula being eerily similar to Slenderman, and so forth. It's only natural we connect the dots.

Thanks for recommendation, I enjoyed this a lot. It starts kinda unpromising, and the main character is such a annoying, brainless creature, she makes Jay look like Sir Isaac Newton, so after about 3 videos I was considering giving up, but then it became really good and stayed this way more or less until the very end. I think I liked this more than any of the non-MH slendervlogs. If anyone knows any other good YouTube series like this, I'd like to hear about them.

George G: Glad you enjoyed the Louise Paxton vlogs. Yeah, I found her a little annoying at times (mainly her voice), but her naivety was also kinda endearing (much like Jay's). Anyway, I just finished watching the whole series: it definitely gets better as it continues. The last entry really creeped me out.

I still think the similarities to the slenderman mythos are eerie.

 		Can I just randomly say that I really like this fandom? The creators are nice and funny, and it's small, so it's a lot more personal. And the people who make up the fan community are really awesome just by themselves. I was looking back at some of the fanart thread and a few of the puzzles that got solved and just the wicked creativity and genius a lot of you/us have. I'm really glad I get to participate in this, even if it was a lot later then the rest of you.
Sorry, just a random warm and fuzzy moment. I was having a bad day and I come on here and see the interactions between ya'll and it made me feel a lot better. :3 I know I mostly just lurk, but I still feel like a part of the community even if I'm not actively participating all the time. It's neat.
