So I was partially correct; the coughing was due to a grenade, but indirectly. Explosives filled the air with bits of dust and debris, something which might not have affected Jan and Gilly quite as badly once they jumped down.

I can't wait to see someone make this into a comic book or something.

i belive the comment eralyer about the forerunners building earth. it could have happend. earth does resemble halo alot. its possible that halo was the earth prototype or something. mabey the built earth and then they had to build a weapon. so they made it look like earth. or they could have made earth a weapon also.

halo has a very long reach when it came to destruction. but did it reach all the way to earth? if not wouldnt they put halos or weapons on different corners of the galaxy? mabey earth itself isnt a weapon but a weapon is inside it. or stone henge or something. pyramids= weapons of mass destruction?

Earth as Halo 2

i preach on the corners of my neighborhood everyday about halo. black baptist preacher style. collection plate and all. all day sunday i preach about the promised land. and the forerunners. and how john 117 was face to face with 5 elites and then counted to three and lobbethed the holy hand grenade of antiok at his foes. who being naughty in his sight did snuff it. and then john and his fellow spartans did feast upon the lambs, and the sloths, and the fruit bats, and the breakfast cereals, and the orangutans.

and another time when john got into a wild gun fight on the covenent ship the truth and reconsiliation(usuing coconuts to simulate the gunfire)

and who could forget the time spartan 117 and cortana had a 3 hours disscusion about swallows being migratory. all good chapters out of the good book of halo.
