It doesn't seem like doiop was the best choice for the riddle. I wonder why he didn't use tinyurl like he normally does? Maybe what he wanted on as a keyword was already taken on tinyurl?
I second the wanting to know more about Uncle Don.

So, I've effectively gotten back into my Serial Killer fixation, I'll try to see if any seem similar to MDT/DNC... Came across one already, but on a smaller scale. The Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs case, which fits the tape recording, but not the MO.
Do we know if MDT is a guy or girl? The person running the account, not the killer on the tapes. I'll have to go back and check, but I was just wondering since it's been assumed that DNC is male, but might not be. Gives me something to do anyway.

I remember seeing 23RF in the http://pic.twitter.com/Euk1RNsg picture posted by DNC then I realized in the Ta Da video when you copy and paste the text the first line indented and lined up displaying "r" and "f" still can't figure out what 23 means, maybe someone else has some insight.

Trying to do research on Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, she was part of a set dizygotic triplets, and had done a lot of lectures on hospice care and the stages of death.
Although, in the e-mail, DNC emphasized "items" so that might not be it.

I tried all the numbers, and 223 isn't a 404, it's some kind of media site? Putfile.com, but the connection keeps timing out so I can't tell if it's anything conclusive.

enki: How did you get the certain letters to turn red? Did you do that manually?

I'm noting the connection I have with DNC, 'he' seems to be taking the time to find out a LOT about me. I will keep at it, though I'm not really sure what I'm doing is helping the investigation, or if I'm even intending to get help. is there anything people want me to try and find out? it's getting to the point where I feel like I'm betraying 'him' by being on this board.

Can you try to find out why he's so interested in MDT? Maybe that's too big of a question. I'm a bit curious as to why he's so interested in you specifically. I guess you're just interacting with him in the right way. -shrug-
Ask him for another hint. Are we meant to look at the riddle in the context of the tapes/lockbox or are we meant to think wider, more general like a normal riddle?

As for the riddle, I've been trying just random stuff, a lot of it 404 or shopping websites. I have a feeling it'll lead to a hidden youtube video. I was thinking about the first set thing, and maybe Adam, Eve and Lilith? No luck wiht any of these though. If someone wants to try someone in that vein, go ahead.

Looking back through the last few pages, just checking for more ideas and saw someone noticed that the uncle had an Aussie accent. I'm definitely going to research more about the Triangle Preserve thing.
EDIT: Haven' found anything useful IG about the preserve, the location doesn't seem like a geocache because it's a huge area and it doesn't seem useful at all. I've got a feeling that when we find the answer, it'll be more substantial "Yup, that's DNC alright."

Anyone else checked out the blog? I have NO idea what to make of it, but I'm horrid with cryptograms and stuff like that.

This guy is getting a bit sociopath/Hannibal on us. Creepy. I must admit, ASPDs have got to be a personal favorite of mine.
I think the picture confuses me more then the email, but neither seem especially related to to the riddle.

I want to think it's a reference to Ted Dekker's book Thre3, which has a line about "the thing most people forget about being the dark man id that you can not resemble a dark man. You should be the person any Betty or Sally on the street wouldn't notice" and ect. The basic plot is a man leading another man on a chase to reveals his darkest secrets, but it turns out tha the man had a split personality and the killer and the girlfriend were both parts of his MPD/DID I had considered it at the beginning, but it's an obscure book so I hadn't tried it. I'll try it now... see what I get. I wish I could remember thee names of the characters... Sam and... Jack? I'll need to go buy another copy of it. Damn.
