Well I think we're meant to see it as that is the last tape because J was rendered unable to film anything beyond whatever happened then, so it probably will be something significant.

Well, presumably it's the last tape that was recorded before Jay lost his memory of the seven months and got booked into a hotel. It might not be though - that could be a tape being held somewhere else, and entry 52 might just be a clusterf.

I think he means that he's watching the last tape in his possession--after this he(and we) will have seen all the relevant info he's taped so far. Presumably this means that the next entry is either the last or second-to-last entry(maybe the last entry will involve something present-day for a change)

It could also be that there's not that much happening in that class this particular morning. I've had several instances like that in my years at Uni: I'd know that we'd be doing nothing more than reviewing for a test or something and I wouldn't miss anything if I skipped that day's class. (Also, yeah, MH3)

Yeah, he's probably not working on MH stuff, but the idea of him getting it ready for posting is nice.
