Soma: food of the Indian deities. Any mortal to partake of soma is immediately given immortality and access to heaven.

I believe it is actually the alphabet of Colphotorios. I found it was an Arabic manuscript kept in the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek. I haven't had the chance to try and translate it yet, but someone who knows Arabic might be able to better understand the letters.

Hi guys, I'm new to ARG's and not entirely convinced that this is a game.

I was looking at the 1242.org site and noticed that the url is not the original site. The site also exists as fma.com, which is what the site and its terms of service describe it as... Since the fma.com site has a monarch butterfly on the front page perhaps they are the enemy that tfa refered to earlier?

just a thought.

edit: also flagfox says that the servers are located in the united states, not sure if that is relevant at all but a lot of the other clues pointed towards Germany so it might be something

The fma webpage looks familiar to me, so I think it might have been discussed earlier in this thread. I can't be sure though because we have covered a lot of info regarding the themes for this puzzle trail and it was a while back....
My best guess would be that the PM for this 'game' probably chose the site due to it's use of the monarch symbolism. My other best guess is that the people who design the webpage and use the butterfly in their advertising might not understand it the same way as one who knows anything about the MKULTRA references.

alphabet of Colphotorios.... Copiale Cipher.... sounds very similar.
A few of those characters look like ancient planetary or astrological symbols, which were like what the zodiac used (if that's the letter you are referring to)
Interesting find, spyke Smile

Yes, I understood that. Kept looking and found the alphabet of Colphotorios, which is definitely what it is. You can see the exact same pic that was used for part of the soma pic on this page: http://asterionsoccultart.blogspot.com/

Quote:

The alphabet of Colphotorios
the philosopher. He was deeply learned in the
knowledge of spirits and cabalistic spells, in
talismans, astrological aspects, and in the magic
and black art. Philosophers and learned men
have used this alphabet in their books and writings
in preference to others, on account of it's different
extraordinary qualities.

This is the alphabet, as featured on page 35 of the original Arabic book:

Also, I have worked with the Arabic manuscript kept in the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek. [BSB-Hss Cod.arab. 789]Ibn-Wahsiya, Ahmad Ibn-×Ali: Kitab Sauq al-mustaham fi ma×rifat rumuz al-aqlam - BSB Cod.arab. 789, Constantinopel, 1791:

This is my own rendition, no Arabic letters, done in strip format to be more easily edited:

Letters A - Y

Letters K - Q

Letters R - Gh

So I sent contactcare another message showing him what I found here, and about Soma. I am not sure, but I am wondering if this picture depicts some sort of heiros gamos ritual. I can see the person is lying inside some sort of protection circle, but not too sure what kind. It looks like a solomon's circle to me, but I can't be too sure.

Actually, I did get a response from LOKI through Mrcontactcare, the day before he started posting on the message boards...
It was sort of a reiteration of my discussion on depression.

Quote:
The concept of a "destination", is nothing more than a mere by-product of a mind mired in ignorance, ignorant of the true nature of Reality.

He also asked about the beginning or end of a circle.... so I re-sent the Jung quote that I posted on the forum about a circle needing it's midpoint before end or beginning is ever established.

I believe our task at hand is to try and solve the number puzzles. Not sure where they will lead. I have been more interested in the exchange of info through the emails and forums though...

Sorry for the intrusion, it's at least a month since I left the game due to work commitments. Today the desire, but above all the time, went back and i would continue the research. I remember that "Gotterdammerung23" gave little advice on how to move forward. The problem is that I remember it was a yahoo.com email ... someone can confirm or deny?
