Yeah, I sent in Team Dirty South's pics hours ago and still no reply. Hope all goes well and we find out soon. Last time it took 2 days to get a response and I sure don't have that kind of patience anymore.

New mission from SP: had a lovely chat at the last Georgetown Cinema axon. She said she loved the pictures we sent her last week and she wants more. But instead of balloons she was thinking maybe cake and ice cream.
I venture to guess that other things attractive to little girls would be nice too - dollies, kittens, you know. Just don't be so obvious Melissa gets suspicious. Maybe a current birthday party and a future (Jetsons?) birthday party...? (Beyond my skillz)
She asked where I got my name; I gave her my real (OOG) story. Oops. But anywhoo. She asked if I knew her name; I suggested Yasmine, but she was unsure. She likes the name, but she's unsure. She also likes that Kamal boy that we hear in the clips, but she's not sure why. Finally we worked our way up to: is there any way we can get info to Durga who can pass it on to Kamal about a little lost AI who thinks they might be related? Without letting the flea !grope SP?

Great, we get that info AFTER we all sent in our pictures full of pretty red balloons.

Late axon (17:40-ish PDT). And I had to drop off two members of the DC Axon Hunters Signal Corps after our last call, so yeah it's late. Sorry.

Did you get this intell from Melissa, SP or is this [SPEC]? As far as I know, no one has gotten a confirmation regarding analog pics; I have been offline for a while (& even now only 52kbps dialup) so if anyone has verified news to the contrary, please share.

No confirmation yet - just hoping based on previous experience from last axon recruit hunt - though beginning to wonder......???? Maybe I was premature....

I posted my interaction with the SP in what seemed to be an appropriate forum
It was fun, but it would have been nice to complete a relay. oh well. I think I finally get an axon.

Davis Axon failed to go hot (darn weather) We failed to enhottenate the 13:55 Davis Axon eariler today, though I was at the phone and clearly repeated the correct phrase until she hung up on us. I shall attempt to activate it tommorow using different pronunciations, speed, and tones of voice.
I also sent in photos as per Melissa's request.

Remember to try "coral" if "reach" doesn't seem to be working.

axons are really pissing me off this week...
Del and I went to hit the 10:01 axon to hopefully complete real_trusting today. But, it NEVER RANG! We were there early and stayed late, and this phone has been answered 7 times before.
Yesterday it rang and didn't accept 'reach' as the answer.
Neither did my personal call.
Another axon rang once and then stopped before we answered.
So 0/4 this week for my attempts...
BLAH

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but is it even POSSIBLE for the same phone to be answered correctly six times in exactly that many minutes?? I mean, I'm not there or anything, maybe it's a bank of six phones all in one spot, but yeesh-- i mean, daaaaaymmmn, that's rough.
And why we might miss out on crystal_security, something I was hoping on hearing today.
See?
It is a bank of phones at a Greyhound station. I hang up after I get the "good" if the other phone is ringing.
Oh, and "Reach" worked on all of them. Sometimes sooner, sometimes later.

O.k. I've given up on the idea that "coral" actually works. I'm thinking the reason it seemed that "coral" worked was due to being too impatient after initially saying "reach".
In other words "reach" works, but there is a longer than expected lag before the recording starts.
